Early Morning Shave,

Finishing my shaving week off in style with my much loved ER 1912 (UK) which performed wonderfully cutting through my stubble effortlessly
What more can I say about these remarkable razors.

The shave was yet again fantastic... I repeat again by saying when ever i use my SE vintage razors I feel as though I am using a proper shaving tool. I have such love and respect for these wonderful vintage shaving ladies.

The Haslinger shaving soap is a magnificent performer with only a slight clean pleasant fragrance 'to my nose' i have mentioned before in my posts the vast majority of shaving soap scents disappeared once i rinsed my face with cold water.....

The Schafmilch sheep milk soap reminds me of MWF/Kent, Hampshire Lanolin Wool Fat shaving soaps which all contain lanolin something my mature skin adores...what i instantly liked about it was, it lather's up in no time without the addition of blooming creating a wonderful luxurious slick protective lather leaving a superb post shave feeling to my face....And like a lot of my mild scented shaving soaps pair's together with all my aftershaves, colognes ,EDTS & EDPS.
An enjoyable 2 pass + pick ups shave with no errors to report...Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Nivea Men Fresh Moisturising Gel.

My face is feeling smooth & smelling divine.

The Van der Hagen Luxury Shave Soap lathered well with the Bunny B400 Badger Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Bunny V3 Injector Razor with the NOTSO comb and a Supply Black Label injector blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with English Leather AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Ahhhhhhhhh, that felt so heavenly - my brother Fernando’s Citrus Melody soap and aftershave are two menthol atom bombs with such a lovely scent - lemon, lime, and I believe grapefruit all come together to give such a delightful refreshing effect. The soap’s tallow formula is awesome - it gives the lather beautiful thickness and slickness, the menthol sensation hits hard, and it’s so skin friendly. Needless to say the Prep is such a wonderful skin soother, and the Citrus Melody aftershave smells as gorgeous as the soap, it’s witch hazel based so it never stings or burns, and it’s so frigidly cold. I’m really enjoying my Wilkinson Sword razor - it gave me another brilliant three pass BBS shave!

DE SOTD Thursday June 16th 2022

Razor : Razorock 2nd Gen Lupo.72, Mfg 2021> excellent mid range, excellent blade clamping and under the nose reaching design, excellent QC and just a pleasure to use. Rare to have any issues with this razor head for shaving comfort and irritations for over a year of use. Reasonably affordable for a 316 stainless steel razor.
Blade : Gillette Astra SS (2) sharp & smooth with good longevity.
Soap : Speick stick, nice mild spicy scent with excellent lather qualities. Triple milled and lasts a long time.
Brush : Yaqi Viper 24mm boar bristle brush, Excellent lather generator, soft spit end bristle hair, great scrubber, + excellent lather painter.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Razorock blue barber with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results :CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= Excellent shave with my RR Lupo.72 with a Astra SS blade.

Comfortable shave. I have lost track of how many shaves I have on this Schick blade, but it still feels fine.




I am watching some deer in my yard this morning munching on my shrubbery. Oh well, it's all good -- I'm glad they like it.
