Tomorrow is the 3rd Tuesday. It suggests to me that the T3 is the way to go.

The T1 just came today. I got the T3 first. It is a HUGE brush. T2 I got a couple weeks ago. I really like the synthetics. I could never afford the Chubby series real badger. This is the next best!

I have not named him/her yet. There are so many predators around here, I am amazed he/she has not fallen prey to anything. This might be the second year for this one. I used to have 3 rabbits in the yard and now not a single one. Fox.

the chubby 2 series synthetic is nicely priced also, and apparently a different synthetic knot than the Trafalgar series.:)

I am really happy with the first two and I am anxious to try the T1. Soft yet really good backbone. Even the T1 is a good size brush!

I thought you would get the Alvin and the Chipmunks reference. I guess not.

I too, had a great Micromatic shave with my bullet tip.

I keep a black sharpie in the bathroom and make a dash mark for each shave. I have 4 now so, the next will be across those 4 for 5. See when mine tells me it's time. I do the same with the DE blades but, never go more than 4 marks. LOL
    Hey, it works fer me!:p

    June 20 SOTD.

    Good evening

I decided to bring out another wonder lavender shave soap. This scent is just marvelous. It's a darker scent then the Angora Soaps Midnight Lavender which is ironic considering the title. This soap loves water and it produces a nice, slick creamy lather with residual slickness. I got carried away with the loading that I had enough for possibly 5 passes. Lol! However, I did 3 instead of 2 passes with my last pass across the grain. I got a BBS shave that probably would be just shy of passing the cotton ball test. I can't believe that this cheapie razor and this uncoated, non-stamped blade gives a great shave. I will say that I made sure that the facelather was tip-top in volume, hydration and slickness to help overcome any flaws with this razor and its blade because it is my 4th shave. I usually toss blades after 5 shaves so I am figuring 1 more shave on the blade. I will make a disclaimer that this razor and its proprietary blade may not be for everyone because it's a ymmv situation. However, you've got nothing to lose by spending $1.36 on it. If the blades don't jive, then use a better blade. I am just beside myself with this razor. The only cons on it are that it is very lightweight and loading the blade is tricky. It's due to the fact that the base and cap are slender with small stops and it sometimes causes the blade to move while your screwing the handle in the razor. I basically load the blade with the base on the counter and carefully place the cap so that everything is flush before I screw in the handle.

Anyway, I didn't cut myself and I didn't get any irritation, however, there was slight alum feedback. Witch hazel was applied to calm my skin and the matching aftershave was just a nice, masculine scent. I got so close with this shave that I won't need to shave until Wednesday morning. Have a good night.
