:signs001: Joe. The Lynx Africa Daily has a medium spicey/sweet fragrance to my nose, which lingers for a few hours. It a was a birthday present from family and friends.

Today I mixed a spoon of lavender with the MWF. Nice added scent. Tons of rich lather.

Preshave I washed face. Going to be really hot today so, I will shower before bed. Bloomed the MWF with hot water while I washed face.

    Pre-shave cream was Proraso blue
I soap was blend of lavender Castle Forbes & Mitchell's Wool Fat
Razor was the Hawk with standard plate and a Feather Professional blade. I lost track of how many shaves with this blade but, it still shaved nice.
Brush is the Simpson synthetic Trafalgar T1. Soft yet firm backbone
After shave Thayers toner Aloe with Witch Hazel & Italia Captian's Choice

Fine 2 pass shave with minor cleanup. WTG & ATG. The blend was slick and smelled great. With all the lavender I been seeing here, I hadta use some for a blend. I am liking these blends. The TOBS does make richer lather when blended with MWF. The Hawk was very pleasant to shave with. No cuts, nicks, or weepers and I didn't re-open that cut on my neck again! The Thayers always feels so nice. I did also apply a small dab of balm as well.

Very pleasant shave! Tomorrow, I have the Star set up again to see if I can finish the blade that has 8 or 9 shaves on it now. Blade was still shaving smooth as of the last use. I really like the feedback from the Star.

I hope all have a fine day and stay cool! Gonna be HOT! :happy005:

    Sunday Morning Shave

Razor: Alpha Shaving Works -- Bandit
    Blade: Nacet
    Brush: Blackland
    Soap: TOBS Rose

Today was on 24 growth, and I again achieved a comfortable and efficient shave. Shaved ATG today not because I needed it, but just to see how it feels. Still comfortable and non-irritated ATG. I forgot to mention yesterday, what stands out in performance for me is how well the razor handles my chin. No blood at all, which is quite a feat. (Of course much depends on my technique, but some razors like the Gillette TTOs will either tear up my chin or leave it looking like I did not shave at all on the chin).

I kicked it up a notch by using a Feather blade in my tame Gillette razors.

    Nice shave!

I recall when I discovered going against the grain back when I was still using cartridge razors. I found it was the only way I could get somewhat close. WTG & ATG. It is sure much more pleasant now with decent razors.:)

Very nice shave Eric! The chin can be tricky. I usually go north to south and then south to north when I shave my chin and that usually does it for me. Sometimes, I may go east to west to pick up any stragglers, but that is rare for me to do so. Have a great day!

Yes, WTG & ATG is how I shave now. I only do a 3-pass when I want to extend my shave. The only area I need cleanup is always my right jawline.

    DE Shave # 409 - Gemini Shave

    Rating: 5 / 5

    Razor: Jacobson FDG
    Blade: Shark Patinum
    Brush: Epsilon Horse Hair
    Lather: Barrister & Mann Nordost
    Aftershave: B & M Nordost
    Additional Care:
    Stirling Alum Block
    Stirling Unscented Glacial Balm
    Humphreys Cucumber Melon Witch Hazel

Another beautiful warm day here on LI. The Nordost is a perfect match in my opinion for this weather. I know this is supposed to be a cold weather scent but this just works for me.

Fabulous three pass shave has me ready for a day in Brooklyn at the Cyclones game followed by an evening christening party in Bayshore. An eventful day for sure.

    Have a great day gentlemen.

    June 26 Good afternoon

    Shavette Shave #372
    Dovo Shavette
    Personna Hairshaper Blade (13)
    MrEE Tuxedo Brush
Chiseled Face Cryogen SS and AS
    Maggard's Alum Block
    Dickinson's Witch Hazel
    Beard Growth: 29 hrs

It's been a long time since I used the most concentrated menthol soap on the market.
It's a warm LI day so it's the perfect time to use it. I like this über mentholated soap because it truly is a face freeze experience. I made 2.5 passes without incidents for a nice shave. Alum feedback was OK. Finished the shave in my usual way and ending with the matching aftershave. Sorry, I forgot to take a pic. Enjoy your day.

My dad had a car with huge headlights like that when he was prolly about 16. 1932 Plymouth. I marvel at the size of my dad compared to them tires! YIKES! Notice the back doors hinge from the back.

today's shave was a Stirling Gatlinburg shave. The smell is very complex, smokey like tar but fresh like pine forest, very warm but still suitable for summer. I just fell in love with the scent. Nothing to say for the soap performance, it is Stirling :)
my brush was Yaqi Butterscotch, my blade was PermaSharp, razor was DE89. As aftershave i used alum block and Eyup Sabri Tuncer No1 Shave Cologne.

i wish you all a wonderful week
