I had another very pleasant shave with the Hawk and first use of a fresh Feather Professional blade. Blade really was dull yesterday. So, I will bin these blades after 1 week of shaves. BBS shave today. 3-pass shave just because. WTG, ATG, XTG with minor pickup.

Razor Razorock Hawk v3 standard with Professional blade 1st use
Soap is Mitchell's Wool Fat with a dollop of TOBS Almond cream to create rich lather
Simpson Trafalgar T3 brush
Pre-shave is the TOBS Herbal Gel that I want to use up
Shave Nation alum bar
Thayers toner and Geo F Trumper skin food for after shave treatment
Splash of Pinaud "Virgin Island Bay Rum" AS

Showered and warmed the bowl and brush with HOT water. Bloomed the MWF with a little hot water on top of the puck. MWF lathers really easy. Nice blend with the TOBS. The almond is kinda mild so, it works well with the MWF.

The mixing of the TOBS cream with the MWF is nice. It creates really rich lather. I did a 3-pass shave to get BBS face. Very pleasant. Alum bar raised no feedback. No cuts, nicks, or weepers. I even di a shave on the top of the dome.

Washed face with the brush squeezings and last of the soap from the bowl. Face is nice and smooth and smelling great!

My brother Fernando’s soaps and aftershaves never cease to amaze me and to freak me out whenever I use them - his Frosted Spearmint is absolutely magnificent. The scent is beautiful - it’s identical to the Stirling Glacial Spearmint except not as intensely mentholated, the tallow formula promotes such awesome lather, there’s indeed more than enough menthol in it to satisfy me, and it’s so skin friendly. The Prep is another South African treasure, and the Frosted Spearmint aftershave has the same gorgeous scent as the soap not to mention how it freezes like a ton of menthol bricks. Smoother than silk from three glorious passes!

The Colgate Shaving Mug Soap lathered well with Tom's Brush B-3 Badger Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the 1902 Kampfe Brothers/Star Lather Catcher Razor with a Personna GEM SS PTFE Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Florida Water. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

 

Sunday Schick shave, July3rd, 2022

Razor : Schick adjustable injector M3- excellent adjustable, well made to last decades, I receive excellent shaves with this razor on the lower settings with a light touch.(settings 2 WTG, 2 ATG, 3 pickups.)
Blade : Personna SS PTFE (7)- Excellent blade, very sharp, great longevity, smooths out nicely + predictable .
Soap : Razorock Irish Countryside- nice mild scented soap with excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi black marble 24mm silver tip, excellent lather generator, heavenly pillow like soft tips, nice gentle scrubber + excellent lather painter. Very nice bloom display.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Fine fresh Vetiver with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results :CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= Excellent shave with my Schick injector adjustable M3 + a Personna coated injector blade.

Lately ive been using SE and shave creams on weekends and on a warm sunday i decided on this combo. The blade is a twin injector and it was a hassle free bbs with a nice cooling effect from the cream and aftershave. Keep it cool gents

The Kiss My Face Shave Cream lathered well with Bunny B-400 Badger Brush by Tom. Two passes and touch ups with the Gillette Tech Slant Razor with a Gillette Silver Blue Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Osage Rub. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

July 4th shave was a change today. Red tip Gillette TTO, Blue Gillette Wilkinson blade (1st), White MWF with a dab of lavender added. Also the BLUE Proraso pre-shave cream.

Red, White, & Blue! With a bit of british isles heritage.

Warmed face with HOT washcloth and bloomed the soap. Proraso BLUE cools the face. Whipped MWF & TOBS with my Simpson Trafalgar T3 brush. I had a very pleasant 3-pass shave with the Red Tip. It is milder than the Hawk! WTG, ATG, & XTG with minor cleanup. Zero feedback from the alum bar. Thayers tones the face. Dab of Proraso balm and a splash of Pinaud Clubman "Vanilla".

BBS face and smellin' great!

The addition of the TOBS to the MWF makes for really rich cream!
