very cool.i like their fit and finish the most,they feel smooth and efficient,more so than the post war.my canadian prewar feels a tad more aggressive.i know that is a poor word to describe it.-more blade feel..

The British FB seemed to give me a smoother shave.

i agree also.just feels more solid..i generally use a heavier handle with them though,which they never came with..ie ball end or solid fluted.it may make a slight difference...i know the late model zamak cap ones are my least favorite.though they do the job.
