After the first shave with Stirling Stainless, it has become my new favorite DE razor. The fit of the parts is perfect. But, he polished finish still shows way too many tool marks. The shave, however, was amazing. Lots of blade feel, so I rode the cap a lot in the beginning. The Stirling easily mowed down three days' growth. For such an efficient razor, the shave was pretty smooth, and left me with BBS after two and a half passes

Prep: Warm shower:/Asda Tingly Mint & Tea Tree Shower Gel.

Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face.
Pears Transparent Bar Soap.
Brush: Anbbas 24mm Tuxedo synthetic.
Bowl Lather.
Bowl : Home Bargains Stainless Steel Side Bowl.
Lather: Palmolive Classic Shave Sticks. (grated)
Blade: Personna Gem PTFE. (D4)
Razor: Schick Type G Injector.

Post:
Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's, Cold Water Face Rinse./ Homemade (~Spring/Summer mix~) Lemon, Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, Essential Oils.3 Menthol Crystals Mixed Together With 200ml of Care+Witch Hazel./P&G Old Spice Original ASL./Nivea Men Fresh Kick ASB.

Early morning shave,

My shave's throughout the week with the Schick Type G/ Personna PTFE SS blade duo have all been close & comfortable...In my next week's SOTD's i will be using the Gem Featherweight.
If i had the choose a vintage SE razor as a daily shaver then a Schick injector would be it.

An enjoyable 2 pass + pick ups close comfortable shave with no errors to report...Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Nivea Men Fresh Kick ASB.

My face is feeling smooth & smelling divine.

The B-pure Shave Soap lathered well with Bunny B-400 Badger Brush by Tom. Two passes and touch ups with the Gillette Tech Slant Razor with a Gillette Silver Blue Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Aqua Velva Musk AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Oh my God any colder and I would have gotten freezer burn - this Glacial Electric Sheep soap packs one b…ch of a menthol sensation. The scent is so beautiful, at least to me. It’s a delightful blend of lemon, citronella, and eucalyptus just like the regular version of Electric Sheep, it’s the first and only mutton tallow based Glacial soap so not only do you get awesome lather that has so much slickness, you’re guaranteed to get such gentle, soothing skincare. The Prep felt so good when I was massaging it into my skin, and the Floid Vigoroso aftershave’s icy cold menthol kick along with its gorgeous old school barbershop scent were heavenly. Three passes gave me another perfect BBS shave!

Brush rescued that was in very poor shape when I got it. It has stopped shedding hairs!

Fine 3-pass shave! BBS & very enjoyable shave!

 

This big Filly makes a surprising amount of noise for a big blade. Clean and smooth once again

DE SOTD, Thursday, July 7th 2022

Razor: Yaqi Beast#2, Mfg 2022 idea, parts are from different razor heads a lot of folks have, Top Cap from Razorock SLOC(Yaqi melon head top cap Alternative),Yaqi dual "flipside" base plate. Handle is from a Micromatic that was missing a blade stop & handle was salvaged. Basically a adjustable razor on the fly with just a 180 degree flip, open comb side is milder and the solid bar side is more aggressive. Some great shaves this combination produces for myself, very enjoyable shaving.
Blade : Gillette silver Blue(5) sharp & Smoooth with reasonable longevity. Favorite blade!
Soap : Cyril R Salter Indian Sandalwood, nice mid range scented Sandalwood with excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi Moka 26mm 2band badger, excellent lather generator, pillow like soft tips, great scrubber + great lather painter.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Proraso red Sandal wood with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results :CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= Excellent shave with my Yaqi Beast#2 with a GSB blade.

What a great shave this evening. This razor is unknown to me but looks awesome. A despined blade fit snugly at man what a shave. The angle takes some time to find and you can easily lose it but boy so smooth. Easy BBS. The brush im not familiar with but its vintage and has the original knot which is a little too floppy for me.
