If you’ll notice there are no labels on the soap tub or the aftershave bottle because they were custom made for me - my brother Fernando is such a soap and aftershave genius. IMHO his stuff easily competes with any of the so called “high end” brands and it beats many of them. His Wintergreen soap is a tallow based menthol atom bomb with the exact same scent as the Stirling Glacial Wintergreen soap, it lathers beautifully, it’s so slick, and it’s so skin friendly. The Prep is unbeatable when it comes to moisturizing and soothing while the Wintergreen aftershave is witch hazel based like all of Fernando’s other aftershaves, it has the same beautiful scent as the soap, and the menthol kick from it is friggin lethal - so lethal that it passes the B&M Arctique. My Tech gave me another brilliant three pass BBS shave that I enjoyed so much. Wish me good luck with my golf games today!

Here is my Sunday Shave (10.07.2022)


Preshave: Grooming Dept unscented // Razor: Greencult // Blade: Gillette 7 o ´clock yellow // Soap: Mike ´s Natural Soaps Barber Shop // Brush: RazoRock 400 // Aftershave: Pinaud Clubman

The Greencult is definitively not for Beginners. It is not „aggressive“ but it shaves very direct and you get a GOOD amount of bladefeel. When you use just the weight of the razor you will get extremely close shaves. For my skin it is on the limit to say „it is too direct for me“. After 2 passes with one spot to touch up i am completely BBS. With no efforts.

Mike ´s Soap smelled amazing. One of my favorite Barbershop scents. The lather is fantastic. Cushiony, creamy and the skincare is top notch.

After the shave i splashed on a healthy amount of this fine smelling Elixir. This scent is so classy and oldschool that it is a pure joy to wear just to remember the old Barbershops in where Men could be Men. Drinking, chattering and simply having just a good, fun time.

The B-pure Shave Soap lathered well with Bunny B-400 Badger Brush by Tom. Two passes and touch ups with the Superior Lather Catcher Razor with a Personna GEM SS PTFE Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Aqua Velva Musk AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

How many of those barbershop-pole brushes do you have??

Those New Spice "Classique" deodorants-I wonder if they are very much like the Old Spice ones(it does mention 1938, the year it all began).

Sunday Schick shave, July10th 2022

Razor : Schick i2 injector with the hydro-magic feature- Mfg 1954-57, nice tame mid range, easy to work the face, I like the Hydro magic feature my self.
Blade : Personna SS PTFE(5) very sharp, great longevity, smooths out nicely + predictable.
Soap : Razorock lime, nice mid range lime scent + excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi Dandelion 24mm Cashmere knot, excellent lather generator, cloud like soft tips, gentle scrubber + excellent lather painter.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Razorock Blue barber with witch hazel+ a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results :CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers=Excellent shave with my Schick i2 injector with s coated Personna blade.
