The TSD Iced Lime Shave Stick lathered well with Bunny B-400 Badger Brush by Tom. Two passes and touch ups with the TNNSER V1 Razor with a Personna GEM SS PTFE Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Osage Rub. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

1920's Gillette open comb brass razor with a fresh Gillette Wilkinson Sword blade

Bloomed the soap with HOT water while washing my face and doing the HOT washcloth to the face. I want to use up the Herbal Gel. I like it but, it's too expensive for the small amount you get. I had a VERY pleasant 2-pass shave with minor cleanup. I have discovered that my beard grows from left to right all in the same direction and this is why I have to work harder on my right jawline to get it close. I ended with a BBS shave. Super smooth! Alum bar raised zero feedback. It's sure nice having a pleasant shave again!

I have so may blades that I have binned the blade and will use a fresh one every morning unless it is one of the super sharp Feathers or Perma sharp.

I hope all have just as nice a shave!

No Grand Freeze this morning because I woke up too late so I just grabbed the first thing in front of me. By itself the Godrej Menthol Mist cream is pretty cold although it’s nowhere near as cold as my other mentholated soaps, it smells quite nice, it lathers beautifully, and the skincare is pretty good. The Prep and the Aqua Velva Ice Blue aftershave were a perfect finish. I’m really enjoying my Tech a lot - what a great shave I had despite how rushed I was!

Right dandy shave to start the week with. The Dr Selby SC is a hard one to get hold of but sure glad I have. Thanks to jay_gatz for this. He got hold of these somehow from Uruguay and was nice enough to share. Anyway, all the parts liked each other and my face is happy. Now go enjoy your day folks.

Similar to my Parker 87R

 

Newly acquired, restored, and honed. Excellent 2 pass shave, that left me BDBS(Baby Dolphin Butt Smooth). Zero issues. Fine shaving blade.

Razor- Bismarck #1. Germany
Brush- Rubberset 400 #4. Original knot.
Soap- ARKO. Super slick, and great for face lathering.
Aftershave- Florida Water. Nice light lime scent. Great for the summer heat.

Bowl : Home Bargains Stainless Steel Side Bowl.
Lather: Palmolive Classic Shave Sticks. (grated)
Blade: Personna Gem PTFE. (D5.)

Early morning shave.

A wonderful shave from the Gem featherweight to start my day off on a good note....The Personna PTFE SS still feeling smooth & efficient on it's 5th outing with no indication of dulling.

A comfortable 2 pass + pick ups shave with no errors to report...Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Nivea Men Fresh kick ASB.

My face is feeling cool, smooth & smelling divine.

It was another VERY pleasant shave today. The alum bar gave zero feedback again today. For now, I don't need a challenge from my shavettes when the other razors are SO nice to shave with! Today was my New Model short comb vintage 1930s razor.

It's so nice getting back to my vintage Gillettes! I did a pleasant 3-pass shave with no cleanup. Very smooth! No cuts, nicks, or weepers! Alum bar gave zero feedback!
I hadta smash the soap down into the mug to fill in the hole I had created in the middle. MWF is so nice!

I have so many open comb razors, I could shave for several days using a different razor every day! I may use some a couple days. SO pleasant to shave with!

This was the kind of Grand Freeze that I wanted to have yesterday but I was so rushed that I almost didn’t have time for a shave. The Glacial Spearmint soap’s beautiful scent filled my bathroom, the lather was sumptuous as well as mega slick, the menthol sensation hit me like a sledgehammer, and the postshave care was so wonderful - exactly what you’d get from all of Rod’s soaps. The Glacial Spearmint balm put another coating of soothing iciness in my skin, and Fernando’s Frosted Spearmint aftershave has the exact same lovely scent as the Glacial Spearmint not to mention how frigid it is. This Canadian Tech is giving me lots of love - another super duper easy peasy three pass BBS shave that was so much fun!
