  11. Hi guys! Due to technical difficulties, I finally downloaded my video onto YouTube to upload here. I tried deleting my other videos and redoing the upload to no avail. It would just end at 90% finish and then konk out. This happened a few times so that it wasover a week. I finally decided to disable YouTube and then reinstall it with an updated version and that did the trick. Anyway, it's the shave with the Assured For Men DE razor. Yes, it is the $1.36 cheapie razor from Dollar Tree. It is just over 12 minutes. Hope you enjoy it.

  18. Today was another very pleasant shave with my Gillette 1956 Redtip. This razor made the Feather blade feel mild.I decided to hold off on my shower until late afternoon when it cools down some. I am wanting to ride the bike today and head to the italian restaurant. Back is still sore but, I rode last night before dark to go to China Buffet and it was very nice ride.

Razor - 1956 Gillette Redtip with Feather blade (3rd use)
    Soap - Mitchell's Wool Fat
    Pre-shave - Proraso Blue
Post shave - Thayers and a dab of Proraso balm

Pre-heated the lather bowl & brush with HOT water and also bloomed the soap. Washed face and did the HOT washcloth treatment before applying pre-shave and whipping the MWF to a nice cream. WTG, ATG, and XTG for a very close shave. I could have stoped at 2 passes and done cleanup but, it was so nice I went for a 3-pass. Alum bar raised no feedback. No cuts, nicks, or errors today! :)

I just got the budget agreement for the coming winter heating bill. It went up $16/month for 930 gallons of propane. NG is only tapped in the local city 20 miles away. Out in the boonies we burn propane. I supplement it with wood during the really cold months. That wood heat is SO nice on a cold night! Lopi "Liberty" free-standing woodstove. I own 20 acres of wooded land here.

I hope all have a pleasant day!
