Thank you Joe. Very much like the current Dovo Bismarck 2 that many have, but a little wider and longer. I’m partial to this older blade.
Nitram-branded Le Grelot Perl des Orients, soap was MdC Agrumes and Myrsol Limon topped off a great shave.

A little ‘rockhounding’ (testing razors and stones) just for fun, both razors 5/8, an Ontario and kiita (left) and a Geneva and a greenish stone (right). Cream was AoS Ocean Kelp lathered with a Semogue Galahad, and. splash of Myrsol Formula K peppermint was a perfect finish for a muggy summer morning.
Thank you Joe, the AoS Ocean Kelp was a cream with guess what, kelp or sea algae extracts (used in many cosmetic products, and it was quite good. As far as I can tell, AoS did an extensive survey to determine what Steve liked, lemon cream, rose absolute, ocean kelp, then they discontinued them all …
Lol! I live on Long Island and they had a store that went out of business a few years ago. It was in my early wet shaving days.

Hayashi Diamond 1000 test razor (testing a kiita), cream was AoS Lemon (the Ocean Kelp is better) lathered with a Vie Long boar. A splash of L’Occitane Provence Cedrat finished up a good summer shave.
5/8 Genco honed on a pretty JBarber hone with red kan rings, cream was D.R. Harris Windsor lathered with a Zenith boar, and a splash of Stirling Tangerine AS finished up a great shave. Windsor is a classic scent of course, but not exactly what I’d call a summer scent, at least not in the southeastern US in summer, so the Tangerine was lighter and compatible.

July 29 SOTD 6/8 Thiers-Issard Spartacus I have not used this blade in months and forgot how sharp it was. 2 pass shave with minor pickups gave me an awesome shave. I love the Razorock soaps because they are slick and easy to lather as you can see below:
Gauthier rattler from Pont St Esprit up for frameback Friday, soap and AS were vintage Yardley and a SOC boar in ash wood did the lathering. Simple and sweet. I was fortunate enough to grab a couple of sealed pucks of Yardley shaving soap and a couple of AS recently. The aftershave has several good replacements, but the soap is a bit harder to replace, probably MdC is as close as it gets these days. Yardley lathers instantly, is plenty slick, and rinses cleanly.
