I’d like to find some plastic storage containers for my safety razors. I’m not displaying them and space is at a premium. I’d like them to be easily assessable for use. I thought about the flat plastic tackle organizers used in some of the new soft side tackle totes. Any ideas? What if anything do you use?
THe flat plastic tackle organizers from Flambeau are the best solution I've found so far. With the adjustable dividers, I can configure them for razors or brushes of different lengths. https://www.walmart.com/ip/Flambeau-Tuff-Tainer-Tackle-Box-with-Zerust-5007/16326922 (Should be available from other sources as well.)
I don't know if you are committed to plastic. If I was constrained for space, and my razors had no cases, I would get something like this: https://www.harborfreight.com/eight-drawer-wood-tool-chest-94538.html It's not super high quality, but it's clean and new, and doesn't cost an arm and a leg like a gerstner chest or any old machinist's wooden chest would. If you have a harbor freight nearby, you can call and ask if they have a display model you can look at.
I appreciate it. I think the foot print of even that will be prohibitive. I think the tackle organizers may be my best bet.
