One of my newer blades. Well, newer to me, and second time using. I had a very smooth 2 pass shave, that left me BDBS. It just smoothly sliced through 4 days growth, with little effort. Zero issues.

Razor- K.C.Seelbach Co. "TULA". Solingen Germany.
    Brush- Rubberset 400. Original knot.
    Soap- ARKO
    Aftershave- Florida Water

6/8 Union Cutlery MAG-NAM - Union had some hyphenated model names, the most famous (in America) being KA-BAR. Another interesting thing is that when you see these scales with metal caps, they’re almost always 5/8 razors, but these scales are scaled up (sorry, couldn’t resist). Cream was SMN lathered with a Zenith brush, and a splash of Myrsol Agua Balsamica finished up. I am a little concerned about how thin my razor hone is getting ….

This lovely John & William Ragg is somewhere between a near wedge and a quarter hollow but has been providing consistently fine shave as of late. Today was no exception :happy036: Sadly, my Baume.be is almost empty and it seems to be out of stock in all my usual places. Anyone know what’s up with that?

Time for the big blade. Three days of stubble effortlessly wiped away for a very smooth and close shave. Surprisingly a razor this size can still produce that satisfying velcro ripping sound :happy036:

This brand was a fun one for me…
George Korn has branded scissors and tools with this brand, Alfred Field & Co marketed this brand, and had a relationship with Korn.
There is congressional testimony in 1888 challenging a representation that this was an American product, when it was a German import… going into detail on just how many different tools could be sent to the importer, unbranded, to be sorted and stamped by them, signifying different quality.
