I thought I would give the Focus razors a run this week. This Flat Top is a fun razor and with a Feather is smooth operator.

I did run into a problem with it this morning when I was trying to disassemble it and clean it. I cannot get the head apart. Apparently the nice little glue dots and close tolerances of the head has it locked together. I gave up this morning and I'll give it a try when I get home tonight. Trying to pull a head apart with a fresh Feather is something I don't want to get in a hurry about.

Another hot one here on LI but it did not stop me from completing an early morning X3Bar Push workout or selecting the Darkfall for a shave. To cool it down a bit I just added some Osage Rub.

I had another fabulous shave with the MMBT. The shave was extraordinarily close and comfortable. I am working my way towards the end of this tub of soap with about the shave left. If I continue at my current usage pace it will be finished by mid October. This soap will be a repurchase.

Following the shave I was off to met Joe, @Trigger, for our monthly LI 30DC breakfast. Once again we chatted up a storm discussing a variety of topics including but not limited to shaving, baseball and politics. Agai , 2.5 hours just flew by. That is what you get when a couple of Brooklyn born Italians get together.
