    I had a good shave yesterday with the Hawk open comb and a Mild blade so, today I tried it with a Professional blade...it bit be several times on my chin and jawline
    .
    I guess I'm not ready for the sharper blades yet...day & night difference! At least the Lavender was nice.

    Great shave Hogie with some awesome gear.

    I think if you will check the Professional blades are about 9 thousands of an inch wider that the standard blades. This bring the edge out farther. I may be wrong but I don't think they are sharper...... you are experiencing more exposure.

    Yes, I was trying to ride the cap. I did with the Mild blade and had no problems and zero feedback. I will work more with the Mild to see if I get consistent results. I almost didn't shave today because I got so close yesterday.
