I'm glad I explained to you when I use a "long lung breath". Actors Jack Palance and Don Knotts were the best at it.

Yes that's true. I rarely use it.
Anyway, my order from The Shave Den Store should arrive tomorrow.

Shave 6 with the Rolls on this blade since honing. Shave wasn't particularly good, but I was in a hurry. I think lather to aftershave was about 5 minutes, which is downright leisurely (for me) with a DE; quite rapid for a two pass + touchups, shave with a Rolls Razor.

I think I talked earlier about the four different types of handles that came on the Rolls over the years. Here's a picture of all of them.

"Here are the four types of Rolls handles that I have in my collection, from top to bottom they are:
Standard two piece handle in plated brass with steel rod, the rod can be removed by removing the screw-in end cap in the bottom section of the handle, the rod and spring can then be removed.
The one piece handle, notice that the end cap of the handle is shallower than the standard two piece handle.
The standard one piece telescopic handle, shown here extended to its full length
The variant on the telescopic handle, a two piece unit, shown here dismantled showing the spring loaded ball end pin which bears against the blade to hold it in position."

I may not shave today. I got so close yesterday that I don't feel heavy stubble.

I haven't used this razor in some time so it got the call today. I bloomed the puck and used the water as a preshave. Surprisingly, I didn't lose a bristle while loading this brush and it whipped up the soap into a nice low structure and slick lather.

Did 2.5 passes for a BBS shave without any drama. However, I noticed the blade was a little tuggy and there was more stubble than normal left after the first pass. So I hit it on my pasted strop and it was much better, but not 100%. I may have to hit it on my .3 micron film to boost it up a bit, but I will make a note to remind me the next time I use this razor.

My Alum feedback was very negligible so it was a smooth and comfortable shave. Finished with the witch hazel and the P-C aftershave. I am quite pleased with this shave. Have a great day.

Fine shave this morning. Oh that Stoylin Glacial soap felt SO GOOD in this hot summer day-actually, it is cooling down some which is nice(the day, not the soap). May need to get another before the summer is over. Course there's always Wet The Face Frozen Lemon Ice. Anyway, the first batch of soap onto my face looked a bit dry so I gave it more water-could feel the positive difference. . I made sure to get the areas I missed in recent days. 2 passes. No cuts, one Knick, no polka-dots. The Knick is in central Cactus Nation. Painless, which is good at least. A nice cool feel from the Clubman Pinaud Gent's Gin. Pierre Cardin cologne to close. Most Excellent.

    SRS # 738 - Affronted August Soap - Weekdays

    Rating: 5 / 5

Razor: Wester Bros. 6/8” 33 Fraternity
Brush: Leo Frilot Custom NYR 26 mm Synthetic
    Lather: Soap Commander Honor
    Aftershave: Floid Genuine Vigoroso
    Additional Care:
    Stirling Alum Block
    Humphreys Cucumber Melon Witch Hazel
    Stirling Unscented Glacial Balm

I decided to go with the second straight day of a Soap Commander soap. Honor is their barbershop scent. Consistent with previous performances of the SC soaps in my den, the lather produced was rich and voluminous.

The Wester Bros. razor easily took care of this morning’s stubble. Three passes as my norm did not disappoint. My face is super smooth and irritation free. Now on am on the road to Hogie’s, @Hogie, neck of the woods. (Give or take 50 miles)To be specific Goshwn, NY to visit Legoland. NY with my son and his cousin.

I hope you have a great day gentlemen.

Thank you Joe...y'know, I'd rather it be too much SOAP at first than too much WATER.
