    Yes....I'm a sucker and a weak one at that.

    Tatara throwed me a 15% off code today and I could not resist. I tried to resist but I failed.

    On the way in......Tatara Masamune with both plates. I already have the Nodachi which is a beast. This one is supposed a lot tamer.

    Nice shave. So that the scent and lather were a bit of a disappointment when compared to some other brands. Did it offer enough slickness to allow for a comfortable pass of the razor?

    Thanks Danny. I figured since it's my first lanolin soap that I would have a little trouble with it. However, switching to a synthetic showed me that it is a good, slick soap. Again, I prefer strongly scented soaps and unfortunately, it isn't the case here.

    I had no problem with the slickness of the soap. I just have to remember to use synthetic brushes when I bowl lather.

    I seem to prefer my synthetics. Sorry the scent was not up to par on the strength scale.

    It's OK. The aftershave smelled ok, but it was mild. Usually, orange scents are bright, but this one wasn't. I am not saying it was bad, but it was not what I expected.
