Just got an e-mail from Don Youngner at Wet The Face, asking for a review of my Frozen Lemon Ice. I gave it 4 stars(out of5)due to being puzzled at the fact that the jar looked only half-full. I asked if it's that way with all his soaps. I hope I get an answer. It's a nice soap, though..planning to use it for three shaves this week.

Awesome pic, shave and setup Joe. That's rare for you to get that kind of feedback from your MMOC. Enjoy your afternoon.

    Good afternoon.

It is a different routine and technique for me this afternoon. Right off the bat, this is my 3rd consecutive daily shave and that is rare for me because I usually rest on the 3rd day.
Also, I decided for the first time to go setting 6 on the Slim. I figured that I would try it and see how it goes at that setting for the entire shave.

I went with facelathering this soap. I love it because the scent is strong off the back and yet even stronger when it is loading on the brush. I decided to start off with a pasty application on my face and just continue adding water until I got a nice slick and creamy lather.
Did a 2 passer with minor touchups just shy of BBS. I didn't get any irritation, but got a microdot weep on my moustache. I am shaving with the mildest setting for me so far and I get a weep. Lol! Go figure. I guess subconsciously thinking setting 6 is mild for me that I inherently applied a tiny bit of excess pressure. Still, I am surprised that I got a very nice shave at setting six with a blade that wasn't fresh. I believe it is the 4th use but I am not sure. In any event, I have come to realize that shaving with max settings is not necessary unless I have a 4 day and beyond stubble.
Did get some alum feedback on my neck and applied the witch hazel to tone down the skin. Finally, I applied Music City Suds Lavender and Ever aftershave. I didn't realize that I didn't pick out the Angora Soaps Midnight Lavender aftershave until I applied the MCS Lavender aftershaves. Apparently, I picked the wrong bottle because they both have the dark blue label. Lol! It is all good because it still paired well with the soap. Have a great day.
