Here is an oddity. It is a standard Tech head but the handle is bakelite or something similar. This is not a military issue or wartime razor. The handle unlike other bakelite ones doesn't say Gillette anywhere on it. I've never seen this handle on a retail Tech and based on the packaging this was likely a promotional item for 3rd party companies.

Well, based on the L2 date code and later model top cap, I'd guess it's a 1966. Could be military issue but I don't know.

I could be wrong, but I think I read someplace that Simplex handles were sold on some techs for sale by other companies.

Interesting and not commonly seen French Tech set. Razor is dated P1 making it a 1970 tech.

Some 70s era English Techs, both packages have the same back side graphics.

    Hi all,
I have bought a Tech ball end tip in mint condition, It's made in England and there are no date codes on the plates. It's a gift box with blue steel blades. The blade date code is a B1, I think that it's mid-end 40s. Do you confirm?
    Thank you.
