I got so close with the Hawk yesterday, I will have to wait to shave now. It is very efficient with the open comb and a Feather Professional blade. Maybe later today.....I want to try that new soap! Also want to try the Proraso Green

    good morning gents
fabulous 2 pass shave with the flat bottom fat handle brit tech.
unlike my others, this little gem has the uncreased earlier cap like the u.s and canadian prewar tech,
giving it a little more gap and blade exposure, making it silky smooth and very efficient.
gillette new lc and later sc razors used this cap also.
fine lemon soda lather built with the custom badger.
    citrus musk caps it off.
    awesome.
    have a fine day everyone

Today's shave was fine but for a scary moment at South Porcupine, as my razor hit a speedbump, and this was no Knick. A definite Cut. The cold-water rinse and extra pressure against it calmed it down. While as I say it was a fine shave overall-I do like this Razorock Italian Shaving Soap-this belongs in the "late-fall,/winter persuasion of time. My face is on fire. For, the second pass, I moistened the brush a little more, thus having to squeeze some out-and did a few more seconds of loading. This soap holds water real well. Besides the cut, I once again skimmed over that right sideburn area(under the ear). Otherwise, quite satisfied. Pretty Excellent.

Perhaps this is the proper post to say I'm not as confident these days about sending a photo 29 days from now. Various things that I should be able to put together(unrelated to shaving)just aren't happening for me. Luckily there are phone numbers to call andnsay "What did I do wrong?". I have 29 days(as Joe said)to snap myself out of this funk. Shux.

Well, I wouldn't take a photo of something I wouldn't want others to see of course, but it's just the theme of "why didn't this work"? that gets me down of late.

    SRS # 743 - Affronted August Shave - Weekdays

    Rating: 5 / 5

Razor: Andrey Shpakovskiy 8/8 Half+ “Hanabira” Kamosori
Brush: CRD Sky Dragon 26 mm Synthetic
    Lather: Van Yulay Lemoncello
Aftershave: Stirling Lemon Chill - Glacial
    Additional Care:
    Stirling Alum Block
    Humphreys Cucumber Melon Witch Hazel
    Stirling Unscented Glacial Balm

This morning’s X3Bar Pull workout which I had to wait to complete due to an early morning thunderstorm was extremely intense. Joe, @Trigger, I would classify it as Beastmode. Yes, I could have done it inside but at this time of year I prefer the fresh air even if it is extremely humid.

Following the completion of the workout, quick dip in the pool and a warm shower I proceeded to have a great shave. I elected to choose the Lemoncello/Lemon Chill combination. I have to say that the Lemon Chill felt wonderful on the face with it’s cooling effect.

The “Hanabira” Kamosori delivered an extremely close three pass shave. The post alum report was pretty much nonexistent. My face feels ultra smooth.

I hope you all have a great day, stay cool.
