Not a Grand Freeze but still a pretty cold shave thanks to the Krampert’s Frostbite soap which was sitting on one of my shelves for the last two years collecting dust so I had to pull it out this morning. The scent is so nice - it’s a blend of pine and frankincense with a couple of other notes which I’m not familiar with, the lather is so thick, rich, and fairly slick, the menthol sensation is excellent but not overwhelming, and the skincare is great. The Prep and the Osage Rub aftershave gave me lots of additional soothing, moisturizing, and iciness. Another tip top three pass BBS shave which I enjoyed immensely!

The Arko Shave Soap lathered well with Semogue Owners Club boar brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Gillette Short Comb NEW razor with a Treet Carbon Steel Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Cella After Shave Balm. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

 

They say Superior 70 is the best of the Bay Rums.

Razor : Razorock Wunderbar slant, Mfg 2016> excellent upper mid range, well built of 316 and machining quality is very accurate for this complicated slant head. Good QC, this razor works well with a steep approach(riding the bar) & light touch with a short handle and results are very good + a joy to use when mastered.
Blade : Gillette Polsilver SI (5) Sharp & smooth with great longevity.
Soap : Razorock Lavender, nice mid range scent with excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi Mountain lake 24mm 2 band badger, excellent lather generator, pillow like soft tips, great splay scrubber + great lather painter.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave: Razorock King Louis Lavender with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results :CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= Excellent shave with my RR Wunderbar slant with a Gillette Polsilver SI blade.

I like that Karve brass handle on the Gillette head. Nice.

 

thank you Joe.i got the handle just for this razor.the original handle is too light.

 

Already made a couple changes to the shave, as the weather will cool down some.
