    Greetings,

Last early morning shave of the month for me.

The Snmirn Adj / Feather Hi Stainless paired together wonderfully making a superb combo mowing through my stubble with effortless ease.

The HWF lanolin shaving soap provided a great lather.

All of the HWF lanolin soaps i have purchased still perform & smell ok with no indication that the ingredients are starting to deteriorate.

Another wonderful 2 pass + pick ups close comfortable shave with no errors to report...Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of L'0REAL Barber Club Reinforcing ASB.

My face is feeling silky smooth & smelling divine.;)

Stay safe, and enjoy your day ladies & gentlemen.

Today's shave was a little scary at first, but ended up OK in the end. I didn't have enough water on the brush as I began the shave so I went back for more in the middle of the first pass.Porcupine Alley was great(both ends). Trouble down at Cactus, though...a big cut. Just wouldn't go away, in the beginning of the thing. I plowed on with the pass and did another. I knew the cold-water rinse followed by the cool Gent's Gin (Pinaud Clubman) A.S. would ease the redness, as it did. Thank goodness that was the only blemish in an otherwise nice shave. But a big blemish indeed. I'll have to "lower" the grade to Pretty Excellent.

    Proraso "White" pre-shave
    Simpson T2 Trafalgar brush
    Thayers toner & Proraso balm
Chiseled Face "Ghost Town Barber" AS

I managed to cut myself on both corners of my mouth today so, I limited the shave to one pass. WTG with cleanup along jawline. Fairly close shave. Alum bar did not stop the leaks so, I had to use my styptic. Getting lax I guess. Alum bar als raised a little bit of feedback. Could be the blade was getting dull so, I binned it.

That's a shame about the cut Paul. Tomorrow is another day. Have a good day.

That's too bad about the cuts Hogie. When I cut myself, I usually give myself a day or two before I shave again and use a mild safety razor. Enjoy your day.

Thank you Joe, you too. I was going North-to-South as the cut happened. Maybe East-to-West is better after all, down at Cactus.

I was thinking of letting the beard grow for a couple days so I can use the Feather DX again. This gives me a good reason to do just that. Let the face heal.

I guess, I was not paying attention to what I was doing this morning!

Modular Adjustable Razor (MARS) with plate 6.
    Feather blade - snapped (2).
    Delrin handle synthetic brush.
    Imperial Barber shave soap.
    Timeless Razor shave bowl.
    Cremo Bourbon and Oak EdT.

I figured I would revist and finish out the month with the Mars razor.

Three very nice passes with no blood loss or drama. Even after using the Tatara for a week this razor still impresses me. It is just a excellent razor that performs way above its looks.

The Imperial soap was very thick and slick. It provided great cushion and glide this morning.

Overall it was a very enjoyable shave this morning.

    Take care everyone.
