    cool gtb/slim shave and pic Gary.#7 setting is similar to the brit red tip.i tend to use less sharp blades at these settings or they can bite..:):eatdrink047:

    I have used it set up this way with a Feather blade before and had no problems. You do have to really pay attention tho and I didn't. Around the mouth calls for EXTRA careful.

    So, I will wait 2 days so I can use the DX with a ProGuard blade. It feels weird but, it does shave close with those blades. I am not ready to try the DX with a Professional blade yet.

    Tuesday morning August 30 - sort of Adjustable and Artisan August

    Razor: Supply 2.0 matte black with SE comb plate / Supply Black Label injector blade (20)
    Brush: Simpsons Chubby 2 Synthetic
    Soap: MWF
    Post: rinse

    My last shave was last Tuesday evening, so a few hours less than a week's worth of stubble to mow. As usual, one pass left me looking reasonably presentable. It didn't catch everything though, so a second pass was needed to get me to DFS. I think maybe, perhaps, possibly, this blade is now just a teeny bit less sharp than is truly optimal for me. No tugging, but just not as clean on the first pass as it used to be. Maybe time to move on to a new one?

    I have had a bit of a scratchy throat, runny nose and a mild headache for a couple days now. I thought it was allergy but have now learned that someone I was around recently probably has Covid. So I am waiting to see if the other shoe is going to drop...

    Anyway, hope everyone has a good week!

    No, I have not tried any of them, but I have seen how they lather by You tube shavers and they all have remarked on the scents and performance.
