    SE Shave # 276

    Rating: 5 / 5

    Razor: Enders Speed
    Blade: Schick Pro-line B-20
    Brush: Skully
    Lather: Stirling Piacenza
    Aftershave: Stirling Piacenza
    Additional Care:
    Stirling Alum Block
    Humphreys Cucumber Melon Witch Hazel
    Stirling Unscented Glacial Balm
    Stirling Piacenza EdT

Fabulous Piacenza shave with the assistance of the Enders Speed razor. I did my usual three pass shave. The Enders is an efficient and easy to use razor. My face received an exceptionally close shave. The post shave routine was on point.

I am now ready for a trip to the City of Brotherly Love. My wife will be accompanying our niece while she shops and gets fitted for a wedding dress. Anthony and I have the task of staying out of the ladies way.

Hope you all have a great weekend.

No “ifs”. I usually set up my shave the night before. Works well. I get the picture done, unless I want an outdoor morning picture, which allows me to sleep easy.

Excellent Enders Shave Joe. Stirling Piacenza is a wonderful scent. It would have been a great opportunity to meet Jeff, but hopefully he is on the mend and you have Anthony to entertain. Ring the Liberty Bell and make sure the Declaration of Independence is still intact. LOL! Safe travels

I picked up a French butter dish and tea mug (with a side car to hold your spent tea bag) for my wife as a present last year. She enjoyed it quite a bit.

For my brush scuttle, I asked for a wider inner bowl for my brush scuttle so that it would accommodate 24mm-25mm brushes. The trade off with that is that you don't have as much room for water in the outer bowl.

Julie has been having some health issues so sometimes her site is closed for new orders or when you order, you are told that it may take a while for it to be made (longer than usual) as her health situation didn't allow her to work as much. It looks like her web site is open for orders again and that she is doing better.

Naw, I gotta wait until Tuesday or Wednesday for the parts to arrive at Harley dealer so I can go pick them up. Bike has been down for over a week now.

    Razor - RazoRock Wunderbar Slant
    Blade - Voskhod
    Soap - Stirling Ozark Mountain
    Brush - Stirling synthetic

This has been my basic setup for some time now, although it will be changing going forward. The Wunderbar Slant is great for hurried shaves as long as you remember it's an aggressive slant. Paired with the Mighty Voskhod it provides near perfection on one pass. With a Stirling synthetic and soap combo the lather is a no-brainer.

The only variation on this is to switch between Voskhod and Sharp Star blades. At the present time, I have my Fatboy available, as well as my Slim for going vintage when I decide to. Head shaves are with a Merkur 23c or the trusty pain stick.

I am working 3rd shift so my shaves have been less frequent and at various times. However, I'm working on getting back on a regular schedule. Time to start enjoying the process more fully again.

Doesn't the Feather DX count as a single edge? I used both shavettes today. The DX did the bulk of the shaving and I did cleanup on my right jawline with the Japanese style that Jeff gifted to me. The ProGuard blades work well with both. Excellent shave! Close! I plan on doing a complete shave with the Clone this week. I seem to have these dialed in now!

Razor - Feather DX & the Clone Japanese style
Blade - Feather ProGuard 3rd shave (for both - I used 2 blades)
    Pre-shave - TOBS Herbal Gel
Soap - Captain's Choice "Land Ho"
    Brush - Simpson T2 Trafalgar
Post shave - Thayers Toner "Rose Petal" & Captain's Choice "Land Ho" AS balm
    AS - Pinaud Clubman "Vanilla"

I got another very pleasant shave with the DX & clone (Kamasori?). Washed face with warm water & Ivory soap on washcloth. Used spoon to measure a dollop of the cream. This soap is the wettest of the creams I have. Nice lather but, don't shake out the brush and add some water! This soap is thirsty! Very nice scent. The TOBS Herbal Gel is almost gone. Nice 2-pass shave with minor cleanup. WTG & ATG. The cleanup was easier for me with the Feather clone Kamasori style. I was expecting some feedback due to my making a few passes to get neck clean but, I got almost none. VERY pleasant shave. If tomorrow was not Micromatic Menthol Monday, I would repeat today's shave using the Clone Jeff gifted me.

Yes, I have the Razorettes dialed in!

Awesome shave and setup Barry. I liked the Proraso Green, but never tries their Sandalwood. Have a great afternoon!
