Thank you Gary....boy, am I going to have "fun" with this tiny 4 oz. Bill Neumann puck. Something this tiny should be 2 or 3 oz., but Bill crammed the soap in there to make it look like the 4 oz. it is.

Joe...Your right, Cella is the bomb!.It's one of those shaving soap's that i could easily use it with each shave, but like most shavers i like variety with my set shave set ups...Enjoy your day my friend.

 

The 8 oz. Bill? I wouldn't be surprised. The soap must be jammed into that also. Lee at Wet Shaving Products does this, too.

 

SEptember -- Tuesday Gentleman's Edition

Today's Stirling is courtesy of @PLA, a Stirling Gentleman who generously provided this gift in November. What better way to follow up a "Gentleman's" shave than Lidl "All Man" Fearless scent.

Well we have some much need rain here on LI. As a result, there will not be any outdoor activities today. I completed my X3Bar Pull workout indoors today. I have not had an indoor workout for the entire summer. Additionally, this afternoon I worked on the restoration of another blade, a JR Torrey, with the 600 grit wet/dry paper. I need to go to the hardware store to pick up some more 800 grit.

Following a warm shower, I had a very nice three shave with my first straight, the TI Super GnomeExtra. This receives the honors of the shaves numbered in multiples of 25 plus whenever it’s turn comes up in the rotation.

My face is super smooth 7 hours post shave. The alum report was silent and the post shave routine of witch hazel and balm have had a nice effect on “mi Faccia”.

Wonderful pick ups Hogie. I would like to pick up a Lather Catcher for my den as well. I will have to wait as I just picked up a C-Mon Special straight razor. It should arrive later this week.
