    Lather: Williams Mug Soap
    Aftershave: B & M Sandalwood
    Additional Care:
    Stirling Alum Block
    Humphreys Cucumber Melon Witch Hazel
    Stirling Unscented Glacial Balm

    I started off a beautiful day with a great shave. The boar brush whipped up a nice and thick Williams Mug Soap lather. I find that the boar brushes in the den give me the best results with this soap.

    The AC clone razor with the Kai blade delivered an extremely smooth and comfortable shave. Three passes followed by the post shave routine of alum, witch hazel, balm and splash.

    The Barrister & Mann Sandalwood is new to the den. It is a very nice scent with a wonderful skin feel as an end result. I will not pick up the soap, unless Maggards has a sample size, as I do not need any more full tubs of soap for several years.

    I agree, Joe. I have a couple of stones and while I was trying my hand at honing, I managed to cut my finger. It is VERY easy if you don't pay attention for just a second, it WILL bite! This caused me to put mine away. I will continue with the DX for practicing my technique. It is also very easy to ruin a strop! Even tho I was being very careful, and I did manage to make the edge sharper, I managed to cut my strop several times. I will not push it. A cut from a straight can be very nasty. I could not play guitar for a week after that cut!

    Harley is still in pieces in the garage. Parts still not in...I have thought about driving the car there, maybe.
    Bike gets 50MPG while car is more like 24MPG. Gas has come down. I have not been there in a couple weeks!
    I want some clam linguini
