Yes, I do. It is very slick. I have been meaning to try the Stirling unscented with beeswax but I keep telling myself that I have plenty of soaps. ;)

Beeswax as a shave soap doesn't appeal to me.

I think the beeswax is a replacement for lanolin, to which some people are allergic.

I've always done well with lanolin, but I didn't know about the beeswax being a replacement for it.

    SEptember - Stirling September

Prep: P.A.A. Cube 2.0 (face wash)

    Blade: Gem Stainless Steel PTFE
Razor: Gem Micromatic Flying Wing w/ Guiding Eye (Gold)

    Brush: Yaqi Purple Haze (synthetic)
    Soap: Stirling Soap Co. Faskally

Post 1: P.A.A. Alum w/ dry dock system
Post 2: Dickinson's Enhanced Witch Hazel Deep Cleansing Astringent w/ Menthol & Eucalyptus
    Aftershave: Stirling Soap Co. Faskally
Post 3: Neutrogena Hydro Boost Gel-Cream Extra-Dry w/ Hyaluronic Acid
Finish: Stirling Soap Co. Faskally EdT

The Gem Micromatic was on point today. Paired with the Gem SS PTFE blade I easily earned a bbs shave. With only a few single-edge shaves under my belt I feel that my technique has really improved.

I did a three pass shave, including against the grain, along with some touching up. The Stirling Soap Co. Faskally was a real champion. The performance was top-notch as always and the scent is an absolute 10 out of 10. If you have the chance to get your hands on this soap, do it! It smells amazing! It's inspired by Tom Ford Grey Vetiver in case you're wondering.

Overall today's shave was thoroughly enjoyable.

    Shave on gentlemen.

    Hi Friends,

    Here my Sunday Shave (11.09.2022)

    71713CDE-FBB8-47CA-8120-8941CACDB7A3.jpeg
Razor: Tatara Masamune // Blade: Gillette Bleue Extra // Soap: Mike ´s Natural Soaps Lime // Brush: PAA Green Ray // Aftershave: Geo.F. Trumper Limes Skin Food

Oh maaan…did i told you how much i LOVE Mike ´s Soaps?! One of THE best artisans out there (at least for me). I am glad that he does not change the Formular and the base every other week to pack new oils and stuff in it. This soap is damn near perfection as it is. Mike knows that. Creamy, rich, very slick and protective lather. Does it need more than that? NO!!! When you buy Mike ´s Soaps you know what you get. A true workhorse without anything fancy stuff like Unicorn Milk etc. :lyrtuy5:

The brush had no problems lathering up tons of wonderful smelling lather.

The Masamune seems to be a good partner for the Gillette Bleue Extra. Very gentle and smooth in2 passes + minor touch-ups.

The Skin Food pairs extremely well with the soap. Just like they were made for each other. The scent does not last long, that is a bit sad, but the skincare is absolutely top notch. A very little goes a long way, goes on easy and the face feels hydrated the whole day.

All in all a wonderful shave.

Have a great time, enjoy your shaves and stay safe and healthy.

    Greetings
    Thorsten

    Greetings,

    Early morning shave.

Everything in my shave this morning paired together wonderfully.

SE razors truly are fantastic shaving tools...... I have mentioned before in my posts if i had known how wonderful smooth, & efficient SE razors where especially Injector razors when i first ventured into the wonderful world of traditional wet shaving i probably wouldn't have bought a DE razor as they provide and give everything i require for a close comfortable shave.

An enjoyable 2 pass + pick- ups close comfortable shave with no errors to report.

Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Boots Freshwood ASB.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling divine. ;)

Keep safe and enjoy your day ladies & gentlemen.

    Today's shave: Fragrance-Free Monday

Gillette Pre-War Tech with Ball End handle
BiC Chrome Platinum blade - 2nd shave
Van der Hagen Unscented Luxury soap
    RazoRock Snowman brush
Thayers Witch Hazel with Aloe Vera - Unscented

Most Monday evenings, I attend a Euchre tournament with a dear friend who is hypersensitive, and allergic, to many fragrances. In consideration of this, I've rounded up an unscented collection of bathing, shaving, and deodourant products. Tonight I got two thumbs up for being fragrance-neutral--mission accomplished! Incidentally, this is why I observe Menthol Thursdays instead of Menthol Mondays.

Shave Quality: BBS. One tiny nick on my left cheek that soon closed itself up. The BiC blade provided a much closer shave in the Tech than did yesterday's Gillette Platinum Plus blade.

Shave Comfort: Unexpectedly excellent. 9.5 out of 10. The slight dragging I've encountered with the BiC when deployed in my Gillette Slims was completely absent today with the Tech. Eureka!

A blade sampler with various Astra, Derby, Gillette, and Shark blades arrived today along with my 100-pack of Tatra Platinums. With the Tech, the BiC blade is going to be the standard by which all the others are judged.

Today was also my first encounter with Thayers, which I deployed as a fragrance-free alternative to my regular aftershave lotions. I really liked it!
