1955 was a great year. I was born in Brooklyn and the Brooklyn Dodgers beat the New York Yankees in the World Series.

I am forth from the left between my brother and little sister. I can still remember this being taken. I think I was 4. On grandpa's farm north of Cannonsville in the hills.

They came in and condemned all the land and then told you what it was worth based on that condemnation. Then they gave them half that value to pay them off. So, they actually got about 1/3 the value of the land.
Back in the 1960s they could do that. It is illegal now. They are still buying land in that watershed but, are better today.

This is what caused a lot of pain and suffering. Some things were done just to be nasty. I have a book with many of the stories. I saw what it did to my grandpa. He owned 450 acre farm.

I wrote a song about it back in 2006. "Oh, Cannonsville". Never mind the other songs on that page...if I could delete them, I would. I can't get in anymore.

I get things faster from Canada than if I buy in the USA! I like Shave Nation but, have found other options. He is high and it takes forever to get here from Illinois. I had to return one bad razor and it got there in 2 days! Something is VERY wrong with the US Mail coming east. I had one thing go thru Missouri before coming here to NY! I also had one item get to Syracus and then turn around and go all the eway back to Illionois and turn around and come back.....I wonder why the USPS is losing money...I can't figure that one out!

Right now something like what you encountered wouldn't anger me so much, as my arsenal is pretty good.

I probably looked like the kid 4th from the right when I was growing up. (Towhead, baby).
