Someone once looked up "Stoylin.org" and found nothing.I felt embarassed and apologized-it was my fault for not explaining the difference.

OUCH is right, BUDDEH. These big soaps are a nuisance for loofahs, but they sure set up the shave well.

Had a long talk with my wife and we decided I want to be in "Turners loop". Just tell me what to do and the cost, money is no problem.

I haven't kept up with pics so far this week, but have had a great run with the Supply for the past 3 shaves. The 2 dot plate is a perfect blend of efficiency and smoothness for me. The Proline is a super match in it as well. Today's other hardware and software were comfortable faves, too.

    Williams Mug Shaving Soap
    Jayaruh #371 Badger
    AutoStrop A1
    Personna GEM SS PTFE

    Humphrey's Witch Hazel

The Williams Mug Shaving Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #371 Badger brush. Two passes and touch ups with the AutoStrop A1 and the Personna GEM SS PTFE Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Humphrey's Witch Hazel. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

I hope Italian Barber has a sale going during this month of Oudtober so I can get the Figaro. But what I may do is let the Tuscan Oud run out(there isn't much)and then get the Figgy.

I must admit that when I write "Stoylin", the spell-checker aske me if I meant "stolen". Amusing.

    Excellent shave this morning!

Razor - Parker Semi-Slantbar in Rose Gold
Blade - Treet (1) binned after this use
    Pre-shave - Proraso Blue
    Soap - Captain's Choice "Venture"
Brush - Simpson T2 Trafalgar synthetic
Post-shave - Thayers Toner "Lavender" & Captain's Choice "Venture" balm
    AS - Pinaud Clubman "Vanilla"

Warmed face with HOT washcloth. Warmed scupper mug & brush with HOT water. I spooned a chunk of the soap and it looked like I had too much water at first but, it ended up perfect! I had the brush full of water and that was just enough. The razor is very efficient and gives good feedback as it mows down the whiskers. NO pressure is needed with this one. Weight of the razor alone. I could have stopped at a single pass but, I went ahead and did a 2-pass with no cleanup. WTG & ATG. No cuts, nicks or weepers but, the alum bar gave a little bit of feedback. VERY close shave! I had forgotten how nice this razor is. I also grabbed the Hawk v3 and did the dome north to south and across east to west. No cuts!

Always nice to get no cuts. And, like you, many of my shaves could end with just the first pass, but I find there's too much soap still on the brush,so I do the second.
