I can get up to 2 weeks with a blade in these razors but, I limit them to 8 shaves now.

Well, I am betting that my Mediterranean beard is much coarser than yours so I expect that I wouldn't get 14 shaves out of this blade. Don't forget that I am using a knockoff carbon steel Gem blade so the quality also plays a role in its longevity.

Awesome humpday shave. It all came together for three lovely passes. The Shore Shave whipped up some very nice Soap Commander this morning.

    Take care everyone!

    Excellent shave this morning!

Razor - Parker Semi-Slantbar in Rose Gold
Blade - Treet (1) binned after this use
    Pre-shave - Proraso Blue
    Soap - Captain's Choice "Venture"
Brush - Simpson T2 Trafalgar synthetic
Post-shave - Thayers Toner "Lavender" & Captain's Choice "Venture" balm
    AS - Pinaud Clubman "Vanilla"

Warmed face with HOT washcloth. Warmed scupper mug & brush with HOT water. I spooned a chunk of the soap and it looked like I had too much water at first but, it ended up perfect! I had the brush full of water and that was just enough. The razor is very efficient and gives good feedback as it mows down the whiskers. NO pressure is needed with this one. Weight of the razor alone. I could have stopped at a single pass but, I went ahead and did a 2-pass with no cleanup. WTG & ATG. No cuts, nicks or weepers but, the alum bar gave a little bit of feedback. VERY close shave! I had forgotten how nice this razor is. I also grabbed the Hawk v3 and did the dome north to south and across east to west. No cuts!

    Smelling nice and feeling clean!

Fine way to close out(for now)the tobacco trifecta. In applying it, I actually thought I had too much on, as my face was beginning to feel as if I was lighting it on fire. Boy, it really jumps out of the tub and onto the brush.Doesn't require much loading time. 2 passes. No Cuts, Knicks, Polka-dots. I did better down at Cactus this morning. I don't know how others feel about neck shaving, but I try to vary my direction, both in spreading the soap ON and shaving it OFF. Seems easier tl do that down there than up at cheeks/sideburns. The Stoylin Unscented A.S. was a nice addition. As for the Mutamayez cologne(House of Swiss Arabia)I did it on BOTH sides of each wrist (had previously been just the palm side). I'd like to see if I can finish the Mutamayez by month's end(since I'll use it every day of this Oudtober, as I earlier said). Outta This World Excellent for the shave itself.

You're doing better than I am in this month of Oudtober, but I'll get it going soon. At least the cologne is an every day job.
