Well, I didn't pull off QUITE the same today as yesterday, but I'm satisfied. Repeated the good paintjob. Nice and clean at the cheeks&sideburns and Porcupine Alley. I THOUGHT I did fine down at Cactus, but 2 red polka-dots came out of nowhere, one on each side. No pain. Zero cuts and Knicks. Going backward, I had great lather from the brushwork, and entered the puck with less water, knowing that would be fine for Stoylin soap. 2 passes. Followed the shave once again with Razorock's Puros.Closed out as usual(for Oudtober)with Mutamayez from the House of Swiss Arabia. Very Excellent.

    good morning gents
fabulous friday shave with the newly arrived seaforth soap.
    ***
sweet barbershop type scent but not powdery smelling
scent is mid strength both off the puck and when lathering.
a small almond sized amount made enough for 3 passes plus.
likes water but not hoggishly thirsty, easy to lather.
shiny and very slick, great glide and residual slickness with a water rinse
not thin or patchy/drying out when left on the face for a bit,but not santa claus beard lather either
can buff without additional lather application on missed spots.
doesn't require an alum rinse to remove slickness, just a cold rinse or 2 as my normal
great post shave feel after the cold rinse.no balm needed.
no issues or irritation noted with the post war tech being a mild shaver
i did my normal thayers twisted astringent application out of habit as i feel like i missed something if i don't.
    awesome.
    ***
i don't have the aftershave as i rarely buy it without trying the scent first, soaps can be used with most anything,
aftershave's/colognes not so much, you like it or you don't
the soap was an early b-day gift also.
i won't buy the aftershave as it's not a scent i would wear out for any occasion or work.
it would pair well with most aftershaves or colognes as it leaves little to no scent residue after final rinse.
my best scent description off the cuff would be clubman original-but a little sweeter and less powdery.
would be a great pairing indeed.
    ***
overall i really like this soap base so far and will use it for another shave or 3 with other products.
i think open blade shavers would like this product with it's slickness level.
i would rate it as stirling ++
this was my first attempt with it and using my standard lather building procedure.

    have a great day everyone.

I just had to bring out Max today. I can't believe that after only one Crox refresh at shave #50 that it is still sharp at #70. It's a testament to the razormaker Max Sprecher.
I decided to bowl lather today because the soap is a sample wrapped in paper piffed to me by Joe @JACarbone. Thanks Joe. The soap is super easy to lather. It just explodes into a creamy lather.

I only needed 2 passes to get a nice, comfortable and smooth shave without any incidents. Max didn't have a problem taking down my 39 hr stubble.
Did not get any feedback from the alum. Finished my post shave in the usual manner. Enjoy your day.

Last weekend I over did it with the comparison between the Feather Pro Super and Feather Pro blade testing with the standard and A plates of my Razorock Hawk V3 razor and developed a couple of bumps on my neck (never had that happen before). So I went with my Schick 500 razor to go mild on a shave, only did one pass WTG on the neck and avoided those bumps. I also let more days pass between shaves to help heal the skin. The Yates 921 hybrid base plate came in yesterday but I am waiting until tomorrow to try it out (if all goes well).

i shave daily now as i get called to work at random.i will still get a bump or 2 on occasion if i overdo it in the lower neck area.i no longer chase cotton ball worthy BBS either, just 2 passes across the grain with a touch up or 2.i only go for true bbs when i have a few days growth ,which is rare these days:):eatdrink047:.i get the best results if i shave every other day but that's not possible at present.
