Very nice shave Joe. Did you like the Lard Lass scent? How would you describe the scent as Linda, of LWSC, frequently changes the scent of the Lard Lass soap?

thank you Joe.it's nice stuff,though i will pic a different scent next time around.hoping to get the "black watch" scented version soon.i love the clubman scent but don't use it that often.

Gary, it's seems to be an excellent soap and your review confirms it. Personally, I believe shavette shaving requires more skill and technique than using a traditional straight razor. The edge is thinner and is more unforgiving. So, if you can shave with a shavette, then shaving with a straight razor is a breeze. However, I can see you just using a shavette every so often. Shavers stay with shavettes because of the lack of maintenance and is less expensive than going the straight razor route.

Thanks Joe. I used it back in June and this is what I said back then, "Lakewood Lard Lass is a nice, mildly scented soap. It has a clean, barbershop frag. However, Lakewood changes the scent on this formula so it's a limited edition offering."

I do like shaving with my shavettes. I did not think I would like the Kamasori but, I actually like it better than the Feather DX!

 

I got too busy to shave so, it's a no shave day for me. The weekend may be busy as well, so I may not post for a few days.

I usually shave every other day but over did it by shaving two days in a row and involving the Feather Pro Super blade in at least one of them. Fortunately I only had three bumps and all but one remain and that one is hard to feel now. I usually only do two passes and a little touch up in the mustache area (depending on which razor I use).
