A new shave set up to start the weekend. It's been a while since i last used the Gillette London Bridge blade paired together with the Parker 24C was a good match. Smooth sharp, and efficient.

A wonderful performance from the Omega 49 boar brush...My re-found fondness for my humble boar brushes grows with each outing.

My cold-water shaves are starting to feel very brisk now that Autumn has arrived. I actually like this season, love the different colours of the falling leaves.

A close comfortable face & head shave with no errors to report. Finishing thew shave off with a few small squirts of Denim Original EdT to the pulse points.

My face & precious swede are feeling smooth & smelling divine.

The Proraso Red Sandalwood Shaving Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #371 Badger brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Supply SE Injector and the Supply Black Label Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Humphrey's Witch Hazel. At last after being forced to miss a shave this week because of Yom Kippur and being very busy the rest of the week I was able to enjoy a good and proper Grand Freeze. The Glacial Citron soap and aftershave have such a gorgeous scent - lemon, lime, grapefruit, and a little tangerine all come together to make this stuff so beautiful and refreshing - the soap’s tallow formula gives it such fantastic lather that has awesome slickness, the menthol sensation is so intense that my face felt almost numb throughout each pass, and the skincare is A1. The Prep is so precious to me - it’s so cooling, moisturizing, and soothing, while the Glacial Citron aftershave went on with its delicious scent as well as a MONSTROUS menthol kick. Three glorious passes gave me a wonderful, fun filled BBS shave!

Klar Kabinett is a wonderful shave soap. A nicely balanced rose scent and for me easy lathering and slick performance. I haven't tried Dusy Kabinett but I understand the base soap is a little different the scent is the same and a couple of reviews I read years ago that compared the two stated it was a tie between the two. I need to pick up a rose aftershave to complement Klar Kabinett.

Razor : Gillette Canadian variant NEW long comb, Mfg 1930's, great mid range, these New razors where introduced for the Gillette new blade design that is used to this day world wide. The razor was built to last other than the ball end handle that tends to split. Some blade tab over hang but still a joy to use once in a while.
Blade : Gillette Wilkinson sword Saloon(1), sharp & smooth. These blades are made in India and work well.
Soap : Tabac, mild clean flowery scent + excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi Orbital ring 24mm boar bristle, excellent lather generator, soft split end bristles, great splay scrubber + great lather painter.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Razorock American barber with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results :CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= Excellent shave with my Gillette New long comb with a Gillette Wilkinson sword blade.

A relaxing Sunday morning shave.

It's been a while since i last the inexpensive Wilkinson Sword Classic which is always a pleasure to shave with.

The two-piece design of the razor makes it easy to load the blade, covering the full blade with no exposure of the blade edges, which is a brilliant safety feature especially for shaving sensitive areas without the risk of getting Cuts & nicks from the blade ends which was a great bonus for me when i first introduced myself to the wonderful world of traditional wet shaving.

The Blade gap is considerably smaller than the newer sibling the WS premium TTO model, but it still gives an acceptable presentable shave. Paired together with the Gillette London Bridge made a smooth efficient duo.

Finishing the shave off a with a few small dollops of L'0REAL Soothing Birch Sap PSB.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling divine.
