I really could have waited for tomorrow to shave because my 30 hr stubble wasn't too noticeable. Max did an awesome job shaving my face and neck yesterday.
I didn't bloom the soap and just facelathered. TSD soaps do not produce rich and creamy lather, but I will say it's slick for me to use with a straight razor. Again, the scent is really nonexistent in the soap and the aftershave and was collaborated by Joe @JACarbone at last month's meetup.
This was my 24th shave with this razor since I lightly honed it on my films. I got a wonderful 2 pass shave without pickups or any incidents.
I hardly received any alum feedback. Finished with the witch hazel and the lackluster matching aftershave. Have a great evening.

Late shave today but boy what a good one. The ATTs have not come out for a while. I just love the look of the blue aluminum plate against the stainless steel. The Yaqi 30mm is new to the den. I picked up during a Yaqi sale at a very good price. This thing can generate a lot of lather and can sling some soap.

That Yate 921 (with the other three plates I have for it) is probably my favorite DE razor at the moment. Once dialed in, I get amazing shaves with it. I think the H plate is my favorite though the M plate with a Feather DE blade was nice for touch ups. I am told the EH plate puts you in Blackbird territory but is smoother. The hybrid plate is the same as the M plate but has an OC side instead of two SB sides. I have a stack of DE blades to try and look forward to working on it. I am going to go back and try the 4 inch skinny Yates handle again and see if I can find the balance point. I think I have my homework for a while between the Yates 921, Blackbird Sabre and the Razorock Hawk.
