    Post:
Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's, Cold Water Face Rinse. /Homemade (~Autumn/Winter mix~) peppermint lavender, eucalyptus, + Tea Tree essential Oils Mixed Together With 200ml of Care+Witch Hazel. /P&G Old Spice Hawkridge ASL. / L'0REAL Barber Club Reinforcing ASB.

    Greetings,

    Early morning shave,

Everything in my shave set up this morning worked together superbly.

The humble Palmolive classic shave cream is a fantastic shave cream and it i has a good residual slickness and protection and post shave feel which IMHO the three things that make a good shaving cream/soap not so much it's density or scent. As always YMMV, opinions are very subjective.

An enjoyable 2 pass + pick -ups close comfortable shave with no errors to report. Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of L'0REAL Barber Club Reinforcing ASB.

My face is feeling cool, smooth & smelling divine. ;)

Keep safe and enjoy your day ladies & gentlemen.

I shaved last night before bed so, I will wait until tomorrow morning now. Doctor appointment in the morning tomorrow at 8:20 for physical and bloodwork. They keep tabs on my kidneys and so far, I am doing something right! Still in the normal range. High side but, normal.

Another winner of a shave this morning, using most of the same arsenal as yesterday(the brush was different-Clubman Pinaud synthetic). Actually, there was another difference, though slight-the in-shower prep. This time I had the Agadir Oud Wood bodywash. Nice scent, just like the aftershave of same. That Razorock soap does just that...ROCKS. A very nice shave. Some red polka-dots developed DURING the shave, but the cold-water rinse and aftershave killed 'em off AFTER.. Speaking of bodywash, I just ordered two Clubman Beard&Bodywashes. They had a discount code for it and yesterrday was the final day of the sale. Anyway-back to the shave-Mutamayez cologne again to finish off. Outta This World Excellent.

    No shave today.
I do not know when I will be posting again...busy.

My shaves are not all that impressive anyway.
Fall brings lots of things to do and get done that are more important than posting my shaves.

    Stirling Unscented Glacial Balm

Very nice shave this morning. First use of a straight since last Wednesday. I do enjoy my straights. Their usage allows me to get into a certain zone which leads to a fine sense of accomplishment.

I did my usual three pass shave. Unfortunately, I had a minor cut on the left side of the chin. User error I suppose, never even felt it occur. No big deal. Keeps me honest.

I hope you all had a great day gentlemen.

Awesome shave report. The Proraso soap is an excellent performer.
Regarding another razor, that will all depend on your comfortability level. I have quite a few DE’s ranging from Open Comb (OC) to bar. My preference is the OC, although I get great shaves with the other variety as well.
Here are a few of my DE razors:
Merkur 37c - Slant bar - my first DE purchased in the mid 90’s.
PAA Prismatic - straight bar - excellent razor that “songs” while mowing down the whiskers.
Fatip Grande OC - excellent razor with some heft.
Muhle R41 - not the famed 2011 model but the older version. Somewhat aggressive but delivers a phenomenal shave.
Razor Game Changer .84 JAWS - OC razor, newest DE acquisition.

    Vintage DE’s
Gillette British Slim TQT (1966 - L2) - smooth shaver
Gillette Flare Tip SS (1959 E-1) - one of two birth year razors. Efficient.
Gillette SS Red Tip TTO (1959 E-1) - Another quality razor.
Gillette SS Blue Tip TTO (1956 B-1) - A very mild razor. It took some time to acquire the correct angle to get a super close shave.

Any one of these razors will give you a great shave. If you into the history aspect of wet shaving then a vintage razor would be a nice addition to your den.
