    Baume.Be (NEW formula)~~Simpson PL8~~Feather DX/Professional Super
Tried out the reformulated Baume.Be this morning.
I added too much water too quickly and had a fairly loose lather until the second pass.
Slickness was adequate for the Feather DX to shave without scraping or grabbing.
Much reduced is the lovely scent, which, IMO, made Baume so wonderful.
If I had to rate these two, I would mos def© pick the original.
(Glad I just scored a tub of the OG)
    Have a great day!

    Greetings,

An invigorating Sunday morning cold water shave.

The Omega Eucalyptus Shaving cream provided a wonderful slick protective lather with a good kick from the Eucalyptus oil to give my face sensors a vibrant Sunday morning wakeup call!

It's been a while since i last used The Indian Pearl SBF 11 razor to my razor rotation and forgot how smooth and efficient this razor is.

    L’Oreal Men Expert Facial Wash
    Yaqi 30mm Barber Pole
    Super Speed/Wilkinson Sword day 12
    Palmolive Classic SC
    CutiBase Moisturizer
    Brut Deodorant Spray
    Brut AS Splash
    Brut Cologne

A very basic, no frills setup for today and a quickie but a goodie. The Palmolive Classic cream in the red tube is from Italy and it’s 100% identical to the version sold everywhere else in Europe with the same nice scent, rich, creamy lather, and soothing skincare. The CutiBase moisturizer is so good as a balm - just a little goes a long way, and I love that old school scent of Brut. Two lightening fast passes still gave me what I would call an almost BBS shave - one more pass would have done it!

Have a great Sunday - be well and safe![IMG]

The Palmolive Shave Cream lathered well with the Jayaruh #277 Silvertip Badger brush. Two passes and touch ups with the C.V. Heljestrand Lather Catcher and the C.V. Heljestrand Wedge Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Aqua Velva Sensitive 5 in 1 AS Balm. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

    Razor: Gillette Red Tip
Blade: Van der Hagen (3rd use)
    Brush: Echolly synthetic
    Soap: Strike Gold “Ike”
    Pre-shave: Corn Huskers Lotion
Post Shave: PAA alum block and the leftover cream in the brush.
Todays shave was really nice. Earlier this week I found a combo of brush and blade that work with this razor and soap. I had never used the Van der Hagen blades but had to pick some up a couple of weeks ago when I was traveling. I had used them while I was on my trip and I found they work great in the Red Tip - very smooth. So I wanted to use them again. I have used Corn Husker Lotion as a preshave for a while now and I find it helps. The Echolly brush was the very first brush I got when starting wet shaving. I got it off Amazon. I decided to give it a shot after having less success with my other brushes on this soap. It really whipped a nice lather and I didn’t have to reload for a third pass. I also put a little water in the soap and that may have helped too. I don’t know.

My neck has always been one of my hardest areas to shave. After reading and watching some videos I went back and looked the hair growth patterns on my neck and realized I needed to adjust my WTG shave. I wound up with no nicks or cuts. There’s a little irritation and I think that might be due to the adjustments I made. Hopefully that will go away as I continue to use the new WTG pattern.
