fabulous start to the day with the 'crat/platinum combo.
fine st.james lather built with the mighty simpson.
balmy 8C and raining outside.
hot facecloth prep.
liberal lather application and scrub.
smooth 2 passer across the grain,a little buffing in the usual spots.
cold water rinse,alum stick,rinse again
a bit of nivea balm and burberry edy to finish.
awesome

I am tutoring a student this afternoon so I needed to be clean-shaven. Everything went well. Two passes and touchups gave me a nice BBS shave. Did get a minor weep on my chin, but it was gone with the alum treatment. Did get some alum feedback, but it was bearable. Finished with the wh and the Proraso Green soothing aftershave. Have a good evening.

Well, I'm known to skip reports of magnificent goo shaves of late, so I suppose I contributed to the confusion. Course it'd be a horse of a different kettla fish if I had Rise .

Yes, Paul, it was our second trip -- mostly northern Italy in 2018 and southern Italy this year.
