I washed towels so, the stack is taller. Gives him less room. Plus the fact he is getting flufier by the day!

 

How does he get down from there, given the taller stack?

 

It really is not that far above the counter. He jumps with no problem. He does ask me to lift him to the countertop now. He is spoiled rotten. He is probably the best cat I have ever had. He is quite smart and he follows me around like a puppy. He is a bit skittish though. Afraid of everything!

I am meeting Joe @JACarbone this morning for our LI Chapter TSD meeting so I needed to shave. Everything went fine except I gave myself a weep by my nose and a scratch on my neck. I was careless and not fully wide awake when I shaved. Those are big no-no's.
Anyway, I am glad blood was not gushing out. Lol! The alum only gave me feedback on the scratch which was to be expected. Finished with my normal postshave routine. Have a great day.

I was glad to go to the Tallow&Steel soap(Classic Two)and the Yardley aftershave. By the way, it's Yardley NEW YORK, not Paris. Real nice shave all around. 3 Knicks DURING the shave, but all were gone AFTER(thanks to the Yardley). There isn't much of a scent to the Classic Two-the focus appears to be on the PERFORMANCE, which is real good IMO In this way, it would be good with ANY aftershave, I'd say. I forgot how sticky the Yardley comes on, but it gradually returns the face and neck to soft skin. 2 passes. No cuts or PolkaDots and the 3 Knicks, as mentioned. Most Excellent.

Another OUDtober shave prior to my LI Chapter 30DC breakfast meet up with Joe, @Trigger. The Shore Shave brush whipped up a fantastic lather.


Following my shave yesterday with the DRew D razor I put the razor to the lapping films in the hopes of improving the edge. Unfortunately, after three passes, the razor did not improve in its ability to easily remove today’s growth. I had to “Play the Trumpets” for a call to the bullpen to do a fourth pass with the Shavette to get the desired results.


Once again Joe and I were two Chiacchierones.
Almost two hours of great conversation. Of course, there was the breakfast with copious amounts of coffee. We will be back at it again next month prior to Thanksgiving.

Currently the “Oud Spice” is not available. Last year they did a re-release of the scent at Thanksgiving. Perhaps it may be available once again.
