I like Sir Hare "Classic Barber" also. Seems not many of us use this soap though.

This was an interesting thread bump for me…I looked back at what I said 5+ years ago, and would only keep a few on the list. The original First Canadian Maximo Gomez was such a great scent. The Reserve Cool (Floid Blue dupe) too. The rest wouldn’t make my list now.
I’d say my current ‘top of the shelf’soap scents that I own or have owned, in addition to the two listed, are:
    SV Felce Aromatica
    Fine L’Orange Noir
    SV Desert Vetiver
    Jeeves Tobacco Bay Leaf
    Castle Forbes Lime
    Stirling Autumn Glory

Someone here has caught covid and doesn't know it. ;) With a sniffer like that you'll go far in the sewage treatment plant.

I really enjoy the scent of Institut Karite Paris Soap. It is a nice light powdery scent.

Unfortunately, it has been discontinued so when I am done with my current puck it will just be a memory.

Just checked my post from 2017 and found my favourites list is unchanged, partly due to not buying any new soaps the past couple years.

    From 2017 post:

    B&M - Diamond
    B&M - Roam
    CF - Civet
    T&S - Shag

    Others:
Tobacco - Henri et Victoria Cognac and Cuban Cigars
    Earthy - Jabonman Tierra Humeda
    Cologne - Nuavia Blu
    Floral - MdC Rose
Citrusy - B&M Le Grand Chypre

The original formula Geo. Trumper Sandalwood and Geo. Trumper Rose are hard to beat. Also PAA Chocolate Bourbon

The minty blue Pears from Dollar Tree is seriously not bad.

Everything I post in this thread is from there. I'm a cheap b*std.

I might give Pears a try. They never did have a Rise Superfoam, and most of their products are advertised in the website for Rise(zero products from Rise in its own website).
