This is my 28th daily consecutive shave this month and my skin is still holding strong! Two more days and my daily shave routine will be over, unless I continue it until the end of this year. I picked my pre-owned Aust for the shave. Of course, Stirling soaps always performs well, however, this scent doesn't do it for me. It's clean and such, but it doesn't have enough oomph for me. Glad I got it in the 1oz sample size. I continued to use the method of keeping the brush wet and loading off the puck. I neglected to mention on yesterday's shave post that I have the brush sideways and twirl it with the faucet running. I make sure that I only get 3/4 down the full knot so as to prevent water from going into the handle. I have only done this method twice, but it seems to work well with my natural bristle brushes thus far. I got a very nice, slick lather without it being too thin, therefore, I was quite pleased.
Two passes without a hitch gave me a nice, close and wonderful result. The alum feedback was very negligible. There wasn't any on my neck so I am happy about it. Splashed on a generous portion of the Old Spice to end this fine shave Take care.

thank you Joe. i had forgotten that i spiked the bottle with menthol crystals.it almost burned.i may have to thin it a little.

it was what i wanted in the summer months...lovely chill.but it was a shock this morning at 0 degrees c outside... more the eye watering effect..

i haven't picked a specific yet but i am thinking a citrus or wood scent.my only set -cygnus x-1 is an Adventus type cologne knock off.so,something a little more generic.
