I really like my lather wet. I used the same drench the brush and hit the puck to load and I got a super, slick, thin lather. Of course, I can't miss with Stirling Soaps.
Did an error-free 2 pass shave without touchups for BBS shave. The alum was silent. Ended with the matching aftershave and feeling refreshed. Take care.

    SRS # 807 - 1508.5 Project - Prarie Song

    Rating: 5 / 5

    Razor: AA Gen Takahashi Tokusei
Brush: Shore Shave Player 26 mm
Lather: Lakewood Soap Company Prairie Song
Aftershave: Declaration Grooming/Chatillon Lux La Petite Prarie

    Additional Care:
    Omega Alum
Lakewood Soap Company Prairie Song Balm
    Humphreys Cucumber Melon Witch Hazel

Another fabulous shave following an intense X3 Bar Pull workout. The Shore Shave Player boar brush whipped up a huge amount of lather from a small almond sized scoop from the tub. The projected meetup with the Edmund Fitzgerald for this soap is the end of January of 2023. I was hoping the event would occur before the end of 2022. Not likely as I have about 50 grams of the soap left. The average weight of the small almond size scot of the soap is approximately 1 to 1.5 grams. The 1508.5 Project allows for 15 or 16 shaves with the soap per month which accounts for about 24 grams per month. Of course I could use it more frequently to accelerate the demise of the soap. Den reduction at its finest.

Superbly close three pass shave with a silent alum report. The Japanese straight is an excellent performer. I looked and smelled good for a shopping trip with my mother. Always an adventure! :eatdrink013:
    Have a great day gentlemen.

Thank you, Joe. The Mühle Sandalwood Shave Cream R102 (R41) will be a great duo to finish your shaving month off in style.

Well, I didn't QUITE finish off November the way I wanted, but it was pretty good. My fifth straight Stoylin Soap shave(the last two being of the Sheep persuasion). I went too easy with it on the left cheek (a problem that should be corrected tomorrow), leaving some astroturf about halfway down. I also wasn't careful enough at N. Cactus Nation(just below the jawline). More astroturf. Both ends of Porcupine Alley were good. No cuts, Knicks, Polka-dots. Nice work with the Safari aftershave, followed by Pierre Cardin cologne. Only a VERY EXCELLENT for this one.

Brush: Sawdust Creation Studio “Inferno” Silver Fox Synthetic

Good afternoon gentlemen. We have a wet and blustery afternoon here on Long Island. I guarantee Joe, @Trigger, is not to pleased. Before the rain arrived I took both dogs for a lengthy work. The missus has exclaimed, “Who are you?” Usually, she and my son manage to take the dogs for a walk.

I had a very nice shave this morning. I have it featured the DG Trismegistus in a while. I need to break it out more often. It is perhaps my favorite DG soap. The scent profile is as follows: “Trismegistus follows in the footsteps of the legendary perfumers at Hermes. Featuring top notes of grapefruit and orange, accented by heart notes of flint, pink peppercorn, geranium, and supported by base notes of benzoin, vetiver, and cedar, this is a scent that's masculine, mellow, and perfect for any situation.”
Of course the DG/CL collaboration of Gratiot Leaque Square may be my favorite all around. Currently, the DG site does not have the Trismegistus available. That being said, Gary, @brit, you might consider this as your next DG soap.

I had a great three pass shave with the AJ Jordan straight. Seven hour post shave my face is still extraordinary smooth. I love catching whiff of the scent throughout the day.

I hope you all have a great day gentlemen.
