Lather: Proraso Blue Shaving Cream.

Early morning shave.

Everything in my shave set up paired together wonderfully.

The Proraso Blue shaving cream created a nice creamy slick protective lather with only a small amount in a short space of time The residual slickness is superb leaving an excellent post-shave feel to my mature skin.

An enjoyable 2 pass + pick-ups close comfortable near BBS shave with no errors to report. Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Nivea Men Fresh Kick ASB.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling divine.

Real nice shave this morning, but it wasn't without a scare. About halfway through the first pass, I hit a speedbump on my left cheek, of all places. Thankfully, it didn't result in a cut, though it had every reason to do just that. Great coverage with the Sir Hare soap, No problems, other than the speedbump (course as I said, no problem came of that).Stoylin Unscented A.S., then some Pierre Cardin cologne to close. Back with same tomorrow-better not be any speedbumps! Super Duper Excellent.

The TRC (The Razor Company) aluminum razor.

The TRC is new to the den even though I picked it up slightly used off of E-Bay at a great price. The TRC appears to be a rebranded SCS (Simple Clean Shave) that is sold on Etsy by the original manufacturer.

I have been eyeing this razor for a while and the reviews have all been very positive.

The fit and finish are top tier. The anodized coating is top notch as well. The two outer pins are stationary in the base plate and the center threaded pin is stationary in the top cap.....an unusual arrangement but it works well. There is also a threaded stainless steel insert in the handle. The tolerances are very tight on this razor and the quality punches way above it price point.

The shave was outstanding! It is a mild razor and you have to ride the bar.....with a Feather she is sweet.

It may not be the prettiest razor in the den but it can hang with the best. Can this aluminum razor shave as good as Tatara? It is close and a few more shaves will let me know.

Here is my line-up for before bed tonight after my shower. I have 4 day growth to shave off so, I dug out my Fatip Grande open comb. My new lather bowl came! NICE!

New lather bowl came! So, I will try it out tonight!
