    DE shave # 432 - DEcember Shave

    Rating: 5 / 5

Razor: Gillette SS Red Tip TTO (1959 E-1)
    Blade: Shark Platinum
Brush: MrEE Limited Edition #017 Cashmere 24 mm
Lather: Proraso Aloe and Vitamin E
    Aftershave: Declaration Grooming/Chatillon Lux 1904
    Additional Care:
    Omega Alum
    Humphreys Cucumber Melon Witch Hazel
    Stirling Unscented Glacial Balm

Wonderful Proraso shave with the Red Tip razor. The Red Tip delivers an extremely close shave once you learn the appropriate angle of blade to face. This morning I can easily say the it is in the BBS territory.

Using the Proraso allows for multiple choice for the aftershave. I decided to go with the DG 1904. The 1904’s scent profile is as follows: “Coffee, cardamom, jasmine, lime and sandalwood.” Gary, @brit, might like this one.

On the agenda today: Oil change for the missus’ car, take my mother shopping and Anthony to Jui Jitsu. Tomorrow there will be some more time painting the kitchen.

    Have a great day gentlemen.
  11. Thanks Joe. I was in the middle of getting dressed and spontaneously decided to take the picture.

  12. Thanks Joe. As for pushing the blade, I really don't mark my blades so I don't remember the number of shaves on them. I tend to go by feel. I believe that I may have one more shave with before I bin it.

TRC (The Razor Company) safety razor.
    Feather blade (2).
    Yaqi Twist 24mm synthetic brush.
Lakewood Soap Company Prairie Song shave soap.
    Timeless Razor shave bowl.
Irish Chestnut by Andy Hilfiger cologne.

The TRC is definitely a keeper. Three very nice smooth passes and no alum feed back.

    Happy Humpday everyone!
  16. Terrific setup and shave Danny. Enjoy your day.

  17. I "played the back nine" of my shave yesterday(Sir Hare Alpha and Stoylin Unscented AS). The Sir Hare is close to being ready to be flipped, but I think I can get 3-5 ,,,more shaves out of it. Lovely shave this morning-2 passes. No Cuts, Knicks, Polka-dots. Everywhere checked in as great. Oh, the brush was the Crown King Duro Spindle Tali-not that attractive to look at, but has always done a fine job. It's hard to describe an unscented after shave except to say that it helps the scent of the shave soap shine through. Outta This World Excellent.
