  1. There's no Arko at my local Piggly. I doubt it's at the local CVS, for tht matter. Where IS that woman anyway? Sniffed me out, then walked away, never to be seen since.
  2. Thanks Gary.

Not yet we are at the beginning of a lawsuit. She is the one suing. I have been dealing with this since the end of April. It is a complicated issue but I think we will win in the end. This woman is 40 years old and acts like a spoiled teenager.

    Thanks for asking.

  3. Terrific Thursday shave Joe. Straight shavers like us tend to limit their DE shaves. It is a different change of pace for us.

    Blade - Feather (1)
    Pre-shave - Proraso Red Sandalwood
    Soap - Proraso Red Sandalwood
    Brush - Classic Shaving Synthetic
Post-shave - Thayers toner & Geo F Trumper "Skin Food" sandalwood
    After-shave - Pinaud Clubman classic

2 day growth was easy to mow down. 2-pass shave WTG & ATG. Minor feedback from alum bar. No cuts, nicks or weepers. That new lather bowl is nice and works well to make rich lather. It holds heat well once pre-heated.

I like this soap. It really whips up into a easy, creamy and slick lather. I purposely made more than enough lather as you can see below:

I did a rare 3 pass shave because I didn't want to waste the lather. BBS was the final result, but on that unnecessary 3rd pass, I got 2 tiny weeps at the right corner of my mouth. I should have stuck with my usual passes. Lol!
The alum feedback was evident on my neck to say the least. Splashed the AV Ice Blue and got a nice burn. I guess I overshaved. Lol. Have a good evening.
  14. DecemBOAR! 8 Focus -- Thursday Edition

    Razor: RazoRock Lupo .95 OC
    Blade: Astra SP
    Brush: Omega 49
Soap: Seaforth! - Sea Spice Lime
A/S: Wholly Kaw - Masquerade balm

This brush was my first brush two years ago. After breaking it in, I only used it sporadically. I am astounded by how soft it is after sitting dormant for most of the time.

  15. Nice setup Eric. With all the bubbles, I would think the lather would be transparent on your skin. However, if it works for you, then it's great.
