OK got my days wrong, but the Williams worked really well with the 1924 and a fresh blade. Without any hassle I got a super close all round finish.

I'm a couple days late posting this but I had a great shave with the Schick Type e and mixed Badger Boar brush the other day.

 

I wish I had a good source for getting 3d prints. I'd like one of these and one of the open comb ones that look like a Schick E. Although is there a version of the bullet tip one that takes Injector blades instead of AC?

 

Yesterday's shave was so nice...I wanted it twice...

SE SOTD, Friday, December 9th, 2022

Razor : Yaqi Excalibur 50mm-Mfg 2021>,Tame mid range, simple clamping system, this razor is a great performance razor for my face. It could be a daily shave for some folks, affordable + stellar shaves consistently.
Blade : Schick proline p30 (4) sharp & smooth + reasonable longevity for a AC blade.
Soap : La Toja stick, very light scented soap with great lather qualities. Good post shave skin feel. Good soap for folks who are fragrance sensitive possibly. 1st use of this soap and it seems ok and bought on sale.
Brush : Yaqi "barber pole" 24mm 2band badger, excellent lather generator, pillow soft tips, excellent splay scrubber, great lather painter. This is a good all round badger brush with a great handle for folks with large hands IMO.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Clubman Pinaud with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers= Excellent shave with my Yaqi Excalibur with a Schick proline p30 blade.

I had a brush with greatness the other day, with @Karl G ....This is the gentleman who first made the Traditional Wet Shaving World aware of what a great shaver the Eversharp Women's Fashion Razor is, and was instrumental along with @Billy Fergie in its being referred to as the Hussy. This encounter inspired today's shave...Thanks Karl!
