I am going out tonight to a comedy show at one of my favorite venues. Of course, I have to shave early enough because it's a frag free zone. Anyway, I decided in my world it's Fatboy Friday so my razor choice is apropos. Therefore, the rest of my setup conjures up that old-time barbershop reminiscence.
Cella never disappoints in making a good lather, but I decided to make it a little thinner than usual, but the awesome sickness was still evident. I lowered the setting to 6 because my stubble didn't warrant a higher setting. I am getting accustomed to shaving at low settings when my beard is just a day old.
Did a two pass shave with some buffing to give me an error-free near BBS result. There was some alum feedback, but nothing that was too intense. Splashed on the Old Spice and I am ready to go. Take care.

Cold wet flannel to my face & head.
Palmolive Naturals Olive & Milk Bar Soap.
Brush: Omega 10066.
Bowl Lather.
Bowl: Home Bargains Stainless Steel Side Bowl.
Lather: Derby Shaving Soap bowl.
Razor: Parker 89R. (Face) - Gillette Winner Stainless. (D1)
Razor: Gillette Guard. (Head/Dome) (D2.)

Post:
Cold water face & head wash with brush squeezing's, Cold Water Face & Head Rinse./Alum Rub. / Cold Water Face & Head Rinse. Homemade (~Autumn/Winter mix~) peppermint lavender, eucalyptus, + Tea Tree essential Oils Mixed Together With 200ml of Care+Witch Hazel. / Brut Sport Style ASL./ Nivea Men Fresh Moisturising Gel.

A new shave set up to start the weekend... For the rest of December I'll be using my Parker & other Indian made razors. Starting off with the efficient Parker 89R.

It's been a while since I last revisited the Gillette Winner Platinum. Another blade that ain't the sharpest but are super smooth and very forgiving, Pairing together with the efficient 89R wonderfully.

The mild, yet efficient Gillette Guard performed wonderfully mowing through my head/dome stubble with ease. The Gillette Guard is such a great comfortable razor for head shaving.

A close comfortable face & head shave with errors to report. Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Nivea Men Fresh Moisturising Gel.

My face & precious swede are feeling smooth & smelling divine.

Real nice shave this morning with a Stoylin soap and Puros(Razorock)A.S. Took a little while longer than expected to load the Stoylin brush. Maybe I was focusing too much on the tips of the brush and nothing else. But I eventually got enough on to paint my face and neck. Good solid coverage. 2 passes. 2 cuts, no Knicks, no Polka-Dots.The cuts were on S. Porcupine(chin)and down at Cactus(neck). No pain. I liked my combination of Stoylin Oro Valley and Puros A.S. Just the right amount of tobacco leaf scent. By the way, Puros returns in a few days to combine with another tobacco soap. Leaf, that is. Super Duper Excellent.

 

Very nice shaves and setup Barry. I find the Gillette Winner Blades to be adequately. sharp, but not as smooth as some of the other blades. However, I do like them. Enjoy your afternoon.
