Sunday Schick shave, December 11th, 2022

Razor : Schick injector adjustable Model 3- Mfg 1970-72, excellent well built adjustable, one of my favorite Schick injector razors.
This razor will also take any Schick made blades from Regular blades to Twin II blades + gives some adjustment to the shave.
Blade : Personna SS PTFE injector (2) very sharp with excellent longevity. I have been experimenting with a blade hack lately.
Soap : Yaqi Musketeer rapier, nice scented soap(Aramis?) with excellent lather qualities. Nice soap, Yaqi commissioned Master Soap creations S.A. to make their soap & fragrance line products .
Brush : Yaqi Moka express 24mm synthetic, excellent lather generator, cloud like soft tips, gentle splay scrubber + excellent lather painter.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Yaqi Musketeer Rapier splash + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results :CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= Excellent shave with my Schick injector adjustable M3 with a coated Personna injector blade.

It's been a while since I last used this soap.. and it didn't take long to figure out why. There is something in it that gives me a slight unpleasant burning sensation. Still, there's bound to be something that doesn't agree with you at some point, eh?

The Proraso Green Shave Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #18 Badger brush. Two passes and touch ups with the 3D GemTR v1 Razor and the Personna GEM SS PTFE Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Osage Rub. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

A quickie but a goodie with Proraso Green cream!

Two lightening fast passes did a good job of cleaning me up - the Plissoft 26mm Monster churned up terrific lather with the Proraso Green cream and the menthol sensation was very nice even though it felt almost insignificant compared to the stuff I normally use on a Menthol Monday. The matching pre/dopo cream works perfectly as a balm because it’s very moisturizing as well as soothing, and it’s really cooling. The matching aftershave went on nice and chilly and I enjoy the scent now and then. Would I call this a BBS shave? Yes!

I got the Heritage razor when they first came out some time ago and promptly put it on the shelf in my small collection. Looks good there and think I tried it once or twice, cleaned it up, and put it back. Well, it was calling me this morning saying "Use me, Use me"! So I did and glad for it. Nice comfortable/close/easy shave and my face is happy. Now go enjoy your day folks.

Razor : Gem Micromatic OC- MFG 1930-41, well built to last generations, mid to upper mid range, I get great shaves with this razor.
Blade : Gem Personna SS PTFE(8) very sharp, great longevity, smooths out nicely, predictable + safest blade to handle.
Soap : Yaqi Musketeer Rapier great unique scent (Aramis?) with excellent lather qualities. Yaqi commissioned Master soap creations S.A. to supply soap & fragrance to their line of products.
Brush : Yaqi "Moka Express" 26mm 2band badger, excellent lather generator, soft pillow like tips, excellent spay scrubber + great lather painter.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Witch hazel beard cleanse + Yaqi Musketeer AS + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= Excellent shave with my MMOC with a coated Gem blade.

I love the CH2 knot but have never been a particularly big fan of this handle. Then it slipped out of my hand this morning and I ‘trapped’ it on my chest full of lather. Not a good start to the day. I am going to bash it out and put the knot in a different handle..
