    Wonderful Christmas scented shave today. This B & M bouquet will become more of a staple over the next two weeks. The scent is fabulous but the lather and glissade is top notch.

    I had a fantastic three pass shave with the Ern 1820 straight razor. The end result was a smooth and comfortable shave.

    Late with the comment here, Joe, but that was a great intro.

    I have mainly used injectors for the last few months, but will probably haul out some DEs for DE December. Will also do Decadent December for some shaves, using my fanciest soaps and splashes that normally don't see much use.

    Sunday, December 11 - first shave of the month, so De-Bearding December...

    Razor: Supply 2.0 injector with SE comb plate/ Supply Black label (3?)
    Brush: Simpson's Chubby 2 Synthetic
    Soap: MWF in Kent beechwood tub
    Post: rinse, alum, Lucky Tiger Face Tonic, Clubman VIBR

    It was long enough between shaves so I had an actual short beard rather than just scruffy stubble. The shave took longer than normal, because even though I was rinsing the razor after every stroke, the whiskers were long enough that that wouldn't keep the razor unclogged. Instead, I had to stop every three or four strokes to unscrew the razor plate and rinse the jammed whiskers out of the blade slot. And it took two passes instead of one to get me back to cleanshaven.

    I will have to shave more often this month to avoid this problem. In addition, my "rind" of MWF is still hanging on in the tub for far longer than I expected. I would like to finish the year with this tail-end of soap finally finished off, so more frequent shaves are clearly in order. I guess this will be "Deep-Six the MWF" December too.

    I was "assisted" in the shave by my big, fat, klutzy cat, Ramses. He leapt onto the sink, knocked the soap tub into the water, knocked the loaded brush onto the floor so it spattered suds everywhere, and jarred my arm sideways in mid-stroke. Fortunately, the Supply SE comb plate is virtually nick-proof, even with your cat guiding it...

    After cleaning up everything, I finished the shave, but forgot to use the alum. I am fairly sure it would have been silent anyway, though, so no big deal.

    Tomorrow I will break out my Delta Echo Razors refurbished and cerakoted Gillette SuperAdjustable DE and use that for a DE December shave...

    Those are striking scales on that razor! They actually meld quite well with the contrasting woods in that Jayaruh brush too.

    I got up this morning to 6 inches of snow so, I went out and plowed it off the driveway before I showered and shaved. It was so nice to have warm lather in my pre-heated bowl& brush.
    At least the roads were not too nasty when I went out to run errands and pick up a few items at the grocery.
