Shaving recipe for today.

Prep: Warm shower:/Nivea Men Power Shower Gel.

Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face.
Palmolive Naturals Olive & Milk Bar Soap.
Brush: Yaqi Sagrada Familia 24mm Synthetic.
Face Lather.
Lather: Erasmic Shaving Soap Bowl.
Blade: Gillette Winner Platinum. (D1)
Razor: Parker 24C.

Post:
Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's, Cold Water Face Rinse./Alum Rub./Cold Water Rinse/Homemade (~Autumn/Winter mix~) peppermint lavender, eucalyptus, + Tea Tree essential Oils Mixed Together With 200ml of Care+Witch Hazel. /Benjamin's mentholated bay rum. / Cien Aloe Vera Body Lotion.

Early morning shave.

The Parker 24C/ Gillette paired together wonderfully making a superb combo mowing through my stubble with effortless ease.

The Parker 24C like most parker razors has a good heft to it, but is well balanced and feels good in my hand.

An enjoyable 2 pass + pick ups close comfortable BBS shave with no errors to report. Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Cien Aloe Vera Body Lotion.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling divine.

Y'know, Clubman-Pinaud Special Reserve is almost as green as AV sport. How did the former turn green like that???

 

wrong dye in the batch i'm guessing.

 

Others have commented about it too. Scent appears to be about the same. I have it up for action this week. I hope I'll be satisfied. Just looks weird.

I just noticed that I left the brush out of the picture....man mornings are getting tough.

I bumped the Flexi up to setting four this morning.....oh yeah we are getting there. Three very nice smooth passes. The more I use this razor the more I'm enjoying it. The razor is heavy but if they made an aluminum version I would have to bite as well.

I forgot to mention....Cella is good stuffffffff !

I just love it when I can get a great shave with an inexpensive razor. Everything went well for this session. I am going to use this soap more often so that I can deep-six it. The scent is gone, but it produces a great lather. I didn't create the lather in the mug. I just wett edmy face with the brush and dry loaded it and proceeded to face lather. The lather was rich and creamy.
Two passes with buffing gave me an error-free BBS shave. There was slight alum feedback on my left side of my neck. Splashed on the matching aftershave to end the shave. Take care.

Shore Shave brush are quite nice. Thank you Joe. I saw another one but I am showing some restraint.

 

Just seeking clarification, if you wet your face with the brush, how did you manage to dry load the soap. That must have been some neat trick. You are holding out on the group regarding your magical tendencies. .

I have not used this mug in quite sometime. I place a scoop of the soap on the mug then filled the reservoir with biking water. I have not had a hot lather shave in over two years. It was a nice change of pace.
After whipping up the lather onto the brush I continued to face lather until I was satisfied with its facial presentation. The lather was slightly thinner than what I have been accustomed to via my bowl lathering technique. Nonetheless, I had a sufficient amount of soap for three wonderful passes. The end result was a very close shave without any irritation.
