    Thanks Joe. I wet the brush from the tips to about 1/3 of the way into the bristles. I wet the face so that the brush is lightly damp so that the soap is pasty. Since my face is still wet, I can facelather with ease. Of course, I will add water on the tips and continue to do so until I am satisfied with the lather. I also go back to the soap and lightly swirl the brush to get more of it. At this point, the brush is wet so it is easy to do.

    "Life events" kept me from shaving since Saturday. Enjoyed a much needed mowing. First use of Stirling Noir. If you are hoping for Drakkar, you will have to search elsewhere. I'm a little sad not to be transported back to the scent from high school (until Antaeus came out). These kids today with their Axe . . . Now get off my lawn.

    Very nice shave Eric. That's too bad that Stirling Noir didn't meet your expectations. I never tried Drakker or Stirling Noir so I can't offer my opinion.

    An excellent OudSpiced shave this morning. Three passes with the Ming Shi Futur Clone razor delivered a close and irritation free shave. I did manage to knick myself on the chin. Unfortunately, the location of the knock happened to be at the one spot where a blood vessel is close to the surface of the skin. The blade must have clipped the blood vessel. :angry019: One hour post shave I am still leaking blood. I am on my second bandaid as the first one became saturated and started to leak.

    Such challenges. Regardless of the issue, my face is super smooth and I am smelling good. Now to work on painting the trim in the kitchen.

    Fine shave to finish off the Barbasol/Russian Leather combination. One pass(normal for when I use a cream/foam). All areas checked off except North Cactus Nation Nation(just below the jawline). Will do better there tomorrow. No Knicks, Cuts, Polka-dots. Russian Leather A.S and Pierre Cardin cologne to finish. Outta This World Excellent.

    Great setup and nice shave Joe. That's a long time for the nick to seal up. You must have really did a bang up job hitting a blood vessel. Hope it doesn't scar.
