    Good afternoon.

    1968 Slim Adjustable Razor ( setting 5 )

MrEE #10 Limited Edition Cashmere Brush
Angora Soaps Midnight Lavender SS and AS
    Stirling Alum Block
    Beard Growth: 1 day

Well it's coming down to the wire because tomorrow will be my last DE razor shave as I mentioned the first day of this month. I am looking forward to shavette and straight shaving once again to finish this month..
Anyway, I chose my Slim and kept it on 5 which is the mid point setting of this razor. Obviously, I would have it on a higher setting for a heavier growth.
I decided to go for a non-seasonal soap and that's Midnight Lavender from Angora Soaps. It's been awhile since I have used it and just wanted that rich, creamy and slick lather with a wonderful scent.
I did a 2 pass shave with buffing for a nice and comfortable shave. Didn't lose any blood and my skin was irritation free. The alum feedback was minimal and splashed on the matching aftershave to end this session. Take care.

What did you do to retract the stubble, twist your ear? Very nice shave Eric.

    DE Shave # 437 - 1508.5 Project - Prarie Song
    DEcember Shave

    Rating: 5 / 5

    Razor: Jacobson FDG
    Blade: Gillette Silver Blue
Brush: Shore Shave Player 26 mm
Lather: Lakewood Soap Company Prairie Song
Aftershave: Declaration Grooming/Chatillon Lux La Petite Prarie
    Additional:
    Omega Alum
Lakewood Soap Company Prairie Song Balm
    Humphreys Cucumber Melon Witch Hazel

I am happy to report that the issue with the knock from yesterday’s shave healed up nicely. I had a superb three pass shave with the Jacobson FDG razor. (Handle was made by a friend from another group on FB, Brent Jacobson). Also, I have three of his brushes, Skully, Jack Skully and the Big Cyprass 24mm Silver Tip.

I managed to do some painting of the trim in the kitchen this afternoon. I will be at it again tomorrow.

Hope you all have had a fabulous day.

I just meant that if I want to "touch up" on an area I missed, it's a little tougher for me to do an entire pass. Maybe a little easier with soap than with lovely goo.

DecemBOAR! Focus -- Thursday Evening Edition

    Razor: Gillette Tech
    Blade: Personna Super
    Brush: Omega 48
Soap: "Col. Williams Lime" -- Williams Mug & Col. Conk Lime grated together
    A/S: Aqua Velva

I dug this container from the bottom of the pile as I had a craving for Williams Mug tonight. In my experience, nothing whips up a Williams lather better than boar bristles. The Gillette Tech with a shim provided a much more acceptable shave tonight. No need to twist my ear to retract, @JACarbone ;)

Some scary moments in today's shave, repeating yesterday. I stretched some skin-North Porcupine Alley(just above upper lip)and proceded to get 5...count'em 5...Knicks. I never had that many "issues" while shaving before. Everywhere else looked great. 2 passes. I guess skin-stretching should be limited to the cheeks, eh? I certainly won't do it on N. Porcupine any more. The cold water rinse and A.S. killed off the 5, thank goodness. Makes me wonder if a properly prepared shave with a glacial soap(like Stoylin, for instance), might result in ZERO cuts, Knickss, and polkadots, or I should say there'll be a better chance of that result with a glacial. For the whole shave overall, let me introduce a new grade-Somewhat Excellent.
